The D let em work it slowly down the field sure, and ideally they don't want that to happen but there was no time for the lions to come back unless they got all the way in one or two plays, and the whole idea with their laying back on D is to take that away. I agree I would love to have someone like Dressler back in there, but if the offense doesn't work I won't blame it on not having a couple guys in there simply because there are already enough guys there who should be able to pick up the slack.

I have in the past seen them call penalties on unrelated challenges but they may have changed that. The CFL has no consistency in how they do the challenge process. Been a giant clusterfuck since day 1.

The biggest problem Davis had was hesitating in the pocket. Now I dunno if his receivers just weren't getting open or he just wasn't pulling the trigger for fear of making a mistake, but that's the danger of a young guy going into a game where the rest of the team is so flat. He knows that mistakes sink you so he doesn't even try anything that isn't certain.

The ticats lined up their offense like they were going to go for it and the qb punted the ball, it was a punt, but a punt by the ticats offense that the Bombers defense was on the field trying to return. That's why it worked. If it was the Bombers special teams unit on the field there is no way that play ever happens. That's why it was a great call by Hamilton.

As ugly as Lankford's attempt was there were damned few Bombers actually showed up to play against Hamilton. Let's just call it what it was, they played a stinker and got their asses handed to them as a result. Lucky for us this team has shown the ability to rebound so let's just lick the wounds and move on.
