The Hamilton one was never close I wouldn't include that one, and the Edmonton one I don't believe was as close as the score, but with a team that can make big plays like they do it can always get close in a hurry. So I agree that some of them were dangerous, but not always because they were close games, just the nature of football. Couple plays here and there can change everything.

That's exactly why it was a stupid idea to even make this show. You're going to take a character that honestly probably only became popular because of the actors ability to play it and try and pull the same thing off with a kid? Not gonna happen.

Except that the problems with Lapo are the exact same as they were when he was head coach and are the exact same as they were the first time as when he was OC the first time around. The guy is a loser as a play caller and we will always have close games with him here because he doesn't have that killer instinct as a play caller and after this much time I doubt he ever will. The fact that the team has put up good numbers is all well and good, but the numbers could be better and we are leaving too much to chance by keeping games as close as they are. It's not all on the D, the O lets other teams get back into games a hell of a lot as well either by getting into their fits of 2 and outs or by kicking field goals instead of putting touchdowns on the board.

I am not talking about going for it on 3rd down or not, I am talking about some of the super passive play calling that leads to getting into 3rd down situations in the first place. Let's be honest here, Brink and Elliott weren't the only qbs he had. He had Pierce and Jyles to start with and didn't accomplish much with them. Lapo is a smart man I've said that before and he can come up with a good play books, his problem has always been with his play calling. He's just not good enough at it. You don't remember all of us here screaming for Khari to call the plays when Lapo was first here? No lack of talent on that team and the play calling was still suspect.
-
Well for example having Medlock kick far and away more field goals than anyone else. Score touchdowns instead of field goals right? Or when he was head coach the team would always play just well enough to barely lose. Be a bit more aggressive and some of those losses turn into wins. That is wasted potential.
-
Lapos problem isn't with his players, it's with his own attitude. Dickenson will always have a better offense because Dave Dickenson knows when to go for it and when to play safe. Lapo doesn't, he over complicates things and it leads to a lot of wasted potential.

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)

He hasn't been as good as he was his first go around in the CFL and he basically lost his job to Jeffcoat. Only reason he is on the roster presumably is because the Bombers feel they owe him a spot with the contract they gave him. The fact is though this is a better team when he is off the roster and Nevis+Poop are on the roster. As discussed Jeffcoat has been better so yeah, a big FA signing who is only on the roster cause of his contract is definitely a guy who is struggling. -
Bomber Bye Week: The Kavis Reed Short Rope Edition

I was supposed to be a simple joke about how Nichols is the guy most likely to win the MOP, don't over think it. -
Jason Maas has always been an ******* even when he was a player.
-
If you don't get enough dosage the thing won't go down and be more dangerous since it'll be doped up, but too much and yeah you can kill the thing. Really difficult situation. Thing looked pretty skinny in the pictures I saw as well so probably wasn't in the best of health to start with.
-
I don't even hate the Riders, I am just totally indifferent to them as a football team, it's the fans I hate.

The Esks already traded Matt Nichols for a song. -
Yeah don't watch it, you'd hate it. I honestly wasn't disappointed in the pilot, but that's mostly because I expected it to be a steaming pile of crap based on the trailer so I guess I got what I expected? I will give it a few more episodes just because I do like Seth McFarlane in general.

We need to petition the CFL Commish to host LDC

I dunno if you're drinking beeritas you are probably already flaming -
Marcus Howell was the best db we dressed that night.
-
He put the guy in a headlock! if anything I woulda called that offensive pass interference. Maas has gotten spoiled, they've let his big receivers get away with murder for so long he thinks they are entitled to calls.

One of those new age types who have to be offended on behalf of everyone in the world about absolutely anything. It's sickening and I find myself more and more having to wonder why people don't just lighten up a bit. -
Well some people would be a lot happier I can tell you that much.
-
That's because they believe the crap they've been fed about how they're special little snowflakes and there are no fans as good as they are. Reality is Bomber fans have always been better and louder than Rider fans, the media just never had to stroke our egos like they had to with poor widdle Rider fans.

Odds and Sods - Banjo Bowl - Saskatchewan Fakes vs Blue Bombers

As they are running Adams leg hits the rider players leg and it causes his leg to hit his other leg and trip him up. Super soft like all accidental pi penalties but it is still a flag according to the rules. -
I would argue leggett could be MVP full stop.
-
our coordinators might be slow out of the gate but they adjust as well as anyone so coming from such a poor outing on Labour Day I really didn't worry about them coming up with better adjustments than the Riders would bring.

gonna be a lot less of the filthy casuals around this place this week too so it's gonna be good in that respect too.
