The biggest flaw with the 03-04 team was how fast they aged and how tightly Dave Ritchie, feeling the heat from Bauer clung to veterans to try and save his job. what I was saying is it wasn't just MLB that was a problem, until santos knox got more playing time at the end of the season Wil was an issue too and that's the result of Wild being hurt all year. Of course when that position got strengthened we also lost Leggett who is also very key to the teams. Basically the linebackers need to be better next season full stop, and that I put on the GM more than the defensive coordinator.

He is a guy that probably fits the Lapo system like a glove. Much like Andrew Harris is tailor made for what Lapo likes to do I think Demski is a similar good fit.

Hall is a proven commodity too, thought of so highly at one point he was given a head coaching position. So if talent is key for a defensive coordinator can we honestly say this team had enough talent? Linebackers were an issue most of the season, secondary had some issues this year...

The point I am making is that we started the 2016 season with Macho Harris at safety and Loffler came in part way through the year and we started with Johnson at halfback and heath came in throughout the year, so even last season the secondary was being changed as the year went on. Then there were even further changes this year. They have been a revolving door. Maybe that changes, but somehow I bet not, they've been tinkering with the secondary since day 1 of Walters tenure.
