We got worse each time we fired him. That points a finger at the players, not him.

I'm fully on board with a LaPolice hiring. He did a good job in Sask as their OC, which was the last time he had a quality qb to work with, unless you count two games of healthy Buck Pierce at the start of 2010.

Let's just remember the last time Lapo called plays here, he was calling plays for a guy who didn't have an arm that could spin it more than 35 yards.

Randle is arguably our best player on the D side of the ball....him or Westerman, take your pick.

If we got him for 150 That's a great deal for us.... would love to have him at that price!

I don't know that Wild would be very good in the middle of this particular scheme. Hall will have to re-write a lot of it and adjust what he does based on new personnel next year IMO.
 
I'd like to move Bass to the middle and have a Barron Simpson type role. Wild has more speed and his pursuit angles are just as good as Bass'. He's also better in coverage. I just think he's much more suited to WLB.
 
But we need a dominant DL that eats up all the blocks and still generates pressure all on its own to be able to have that set up. I have even more respect for Richie now, because he recognized our DL ahead of time would need help eating up blocks and generating pressure so he made Hurl that guy.
 
Having a DL that can command all the blocks and still produce results is the key to having a dominant defense. I really hope Walters makes that a priority and is successful with it this year.

Don't really care for the whole "kool-aide gang" comment. I'm guessing you are refering to Oshea and the coaches here? 
 
I don't know man but... I think if we have truly learned one thing about Mike O'shea, it's that he will not throw players under the bus in public, he's said it multiple times even, I'm not sure why some people have issues with that... Don't kid yourself, MOS recognizes the problems too, he's just not gonna come out and throw anyone under the bus, Neither did walters really, He just said that certain areas, all areas need to improve and you know what, He's right.. Every GM would say that too, Even Calgary and Hamilton and the best teams in the league are always looking to improve, Just cuz MOS doesn't come out and name names and throw people under the bus, doesn't mean he doesn't recognize the problems...
 
MOS seems to be learning from his past mistakes, he fire bellefeuille pretty quickly after the season ended, he obvious recognized the O was a problem. 
 
Walters didn't exactly name names either... he mentioned positions and how they'd like to improve on some... He didn't say "this guy" sucked, he said we need to get better at these positions... specifically DL and Receiver.. He didn't name names. The only guy he half threw under the bus was Brohm when he said, he pissed his chance away. 

Why not? When Willy was healthy last year he lead the league in yards till he had to play hurt... just watching the guy play you can tell he's special. Super accurate with just the right touch on the ball.

That’s okay that you don’t play that game, but if you want to compare QBs and rank them, you kind of have to. I understand that every QB could add numbers to their totals in this way, but there is really no other way to compare.
 
Ricky Ray in his prime was elite and I would have wanted him over anyone out there.
 
He is no longer in his prime though.  Going into next season he will be 37 years old and on the down side of his career.
 
At this point in their careers, I would stick with Willy.
 
It is my opinion that with a competent oline and a competent OC, Willy has the tools to be a top 3 QB.
