Looked back at last year and the Arkells were announced November 21st for the December 12th game. I wouldn't call this year exceedingly late, maybe just Dan Clark getting to his blockiing assignment late...

Bring Dobson in as a TE for pass pro and you don't even need a running game. We'd put up Rourke like numbers...

I don't expect CD or JOD back in Sask next year, however I don't think they get canned until after the Grey Cup. If they weren't the host team likely relieved of duties on Sunday but the team likely needs them in town for Grey Cup week. Would really be a shitty position to be in but those two totally deserve the long drawn out process.

Yes, the Riders suck and it feels great to watch them loose but let’s remember that if we want a successful league for the Bombers to continue to dominate we need them to be at least mediocre and to turn a profit and help support the rest of the league with revenue sharing. Sending them back to telethon days is not something the league can stand, there are big financial issues with the privately owned teams and 2 of the community owned teams are sliding fast. As much as I hate the Riders, I want to take my (future) grandchildren to Banjo Bowls in the future and teach them the ways of Rider suckdom.

Was swamped at work today, got home and wife asked “did you hear about Fajardo?” No. “The little ***** is whining to everyone that he got benched, not sure he’ll ever play for the Criders again”. I guess that’s a career…
