Ottawa - Lost a ton of good players, but are in the right division. Toronto - Will have QB problems all year long, but they're good enough to stay out of the basement. Hedging your bets means playing both sides or supporting more than 1 possible outcome. Seeing McGuire as the most likely to succeed isn't hedging your bets.

Walters gets props for his first 2 drafts, but he's been more miss than hit since then. Waggoner and Faith were #2 and #1 overall busts. Simonise was our top pick in 2018.

I don't understand how cutting Bennett is hedging their bets.

Simonise really looks like a football player, but looking like Tarzan and playing like Jane will get you cut.

Lots of blitzing last night too. It used to be considered bad form, but teams have been blitzing in preseason for years now.

I don't see anyone giving up on Streveler. I see the Nichols guys pointing out that Streveler didn't play well cuz it works for their argument that we need to start Nichols.

I'm a big Streveler fan, but he didn't have a good outing last night. I was surprised they didn't give him more reps later on.
