Well it does beg the question, on a short week, with one scheduled practice and a QB making his first start, you have a storm forecasted during the practice, and the coaching staff does nothing? Seems odd to me. O'Shea stated that they did move up practice 20 minutes...so there. Obviously overlooked in that extensive Google research.

Is he? What is he wrong about? The team hasn't done anything to improve this offseason. Relying on Ehlers and Burmi to put this team over the top doesn't really give me too much confidence. I think they're relying on a lot more than Ehlers. They're relying on the raised level of comfort from Myers and Stafford who get a TC with their new team. They're relying on the development of Scheifele, Trouba and Lowry. They're relying on the system to put some new blood in. That article is a joke lol

Read above been stated that veltung is a healthy scratch. He's hurt. I don't really care how they word it in the media - healthy scratch is an incorrect use of terminology, he's on the gameday roster as a member of the 2-man reserve but he's still injured.

Our DL has been really good lately, just not getting the big money stats (just like every other team in the league) but they've been much better with Peach and Turner out (moreso Peach out and Collins in)

Both BS. Our D has actually been somewhat dominant since Collins went into the lineup. Not enthused to see all the guys who made up an extremely mediocre DL back in the lineup together. I've already resigned myself to Veltung sitting, I was holding out hope Collins won't. Very frustrated to see Peach back in the lineup.

Always wanted to wander in there for one night JUST to see. But I value my life too much.

We have Waggoner to show for it. I don't think it's worth it. Just out of curiosity, what are you basing that off of? In fact, I'd love to hear the list of prospects you think are superior to Waggoner in the upcoming draft.

I don't know why anyone thinks we're suddenly doomed for this season. It is still QUITE possible we could stumble ass backwards into the playoffs, especially considering the Labour Day / Banjo Bowl games are anything but an automatic loss. But it's going to be tough.

I don't blame O'Shea for leaving Willy in. You can't honestly expect to wave the white flag with an entire half of football to go, that makes zero sense and it's a defeatist attitude. That being said, the sooner Marcel is fired, the better. The talent may not be ideal up front, but his offense including the schemes' inability to actually provide even AVERAGE protection for our franchise player is NOT good enough and we need to find a replacement. Period.
