Was watching playoffs on my tablet the other night and my 3 year old asks if I was watching football... when I explained no hockey I was then asked when football starts.... so there we go, even the kids are ready for football season to start.

Anytime I or her mother put on a blue shirt of any kind my 2 year old says “Yay Blue Bombers!”

    You can stream TSN via...

    Amazon Fire Stick
    Android TV
    Android phones & tablets
Apple TV 4K & Apple TV HD
    Bell Streamer
    Chromecast
    iPhone & iPad
    LG
    Roku
    Airplay
    Samsung TV
    Xbox Series

How is their app for you on those? I’ve had nothing but problems and crashing with it on Xbox and Samsung TV.
It’s only ever reliable through my laptop or phone.

But. They're. Not. Making. Any. Money.

My son in Seattle doesn't have cable. He has Hulu CBS Sports, Netfklix, Paramount Plus, Disney Plus... but he has to plug his laptop into his tv to watch a CFL game from TSN after CBS Sports stopped televising games on their sports streaming service after the NFL started.

This. If TSN wants 18-40 year olds watching, they’ve got to get a decent streaming app across all platforms.
No one should have to plug the laptop in, it’s 2024.
I’ve been streaming everything else through Xbox/PS for over a decade.

  4. I’d rather have Burbacher than another RB.

Other than that I like the picks.

Didn’t love taking Clercius at first. After reading about him, and JBR’s opinion, I’ve come around. Seems like he’s a replacement for the things Bailey could do.

Glad they took a few OL to develop, depth is very thin now. Still a crap shoot, but odds are at least one of those guys will be serviceable by ‘25.

Sorry when you always finish first in the league AND the draft is a crapshoot of who will actually show up to play on your team of course we sign more free agent impact Canadian players, but when we were a weak team Walters drafted impact Canadian players as well as any CFL GM.

Aside from that godawful 1st overall in 2016 or 17. Ekkakite (sp)

Walters had a great draft the year they took Loffler in the 4th round

Who did we pass on in the Global draft who could be a rotational player?

I do agree I am worried we go ST plugs in the draft.

I expect 1 OL, 1 DL and a bunch of jobber “linebackers”.
I’m hoping for more but that’s been their track record for Canadian drafting for years now.
Walters usually signs impact Canadians as FA’s or supplemental, rarely through the draft.

Yup to the casual fan it literally looked like they gave up and abandoned how they were playing up to that point.

I don’t know enough about the finer details of hockey to explain why, but yeah it was a totally different team until that high-stick penalty.
Just gassed out after a 4 minute PK maybe?

I get what you are saying, but this was no more dangerous than the vast majority of punt returns imo. Was it necessary? Probably not. Was it excessively dangerous situation? Not really.

I kind of disagree there. The level of danger for a headshot or freak injury on a punt return is equal or greater for sure.
I’d see way more opportunities in the soup for someone to grab and twist an ankle or a knee.

Bc  lost fewer players than we did and did a better job, for now. replacing them.

    ie lost  Betts  >  Robertson

Rhymes> Stanback (giving them more balance)

             Whitehead .>   Mcinnis

             Edward -Cooper  > Ciante Evans

           Baron > Richardson

We were neck and neck with them in the standing most of the year, whether we repeat will depend on our recruiting

How does McInnis replace Whitehead? He was there last year too no?

Stanback doesn’t replace Rhymes, they play different positions.

Ciante Evans is maybe a slight upgrade over Edwards-Cooper, if Evans doesn’t decline due to age.

Can Stove even play? If he can then yeah, that’s an upgrade.

I still don’t see how BC’s off-season does anything to rank them above the Bombers, Montreal or Toronto.

On another note, with the GC being played in Vancouver, get ready for it you guys.
TSN is going to slobber all over the Lions like nothing we’ve ever seen.
