100 agree... I'm happy he's staying... but nervous about who he wants to stay with him... please, please, please no Jake and Kolo...
and as much as I still see a role for Willie (and even Vaughters)... If I had to choose those two or the two raw rookies we saw in game 18... I'll take the rookies
Willie is one of my all time favourite Bombers, and even I can see that he needs to be more of a complimentary piece at this stage of his career. I’d like to see him stay on in that role but we need to have new guys as the primary DE’s.

Big no on Kent Austin from me, last success he had in the league was nearly 20 years ago.
Hamilton was **** when he was there, plus he comes across as kind of a jackass. Never been a fan.
I’m not completely against bringing in someone with HC experience If MOS leaves but I’d rather they bring in someone who’s had their finger on the pulse of the league sometime recently, and preferably not old enough to collect CPP.

Jake, Kolo, Hogan all need to go with MOS IF he leaves.
That would be ideal (if he actually leaves)
With our luck it would probably be Brady, Holm and Younger

I was bummed mid way through the season when I realized that this team wasn't going to make it.
I thought maybe if they could back into a home playoff game they might be able to ride some momentum.
When they lost to Edmonton I resigned myself to the fact that they just weren’t good enough this year.

Anyone else kind of bummed out today? First west final without the Bombers since 2017. Feels weird.

I was looking at the 2021 CFL all stars. The Bombers dominated the west with 15 (4 this year for comparison) and the thing that is really crazy is we had 6 out of the 9 available spots on the O-Line and D-Line, and not a single player this year in either of those positions btw, it all starts with the complete overhaul in the trenches, to me there’s not a single starter that should feel 100 percent safe on both sides of the line except in my opinion Cam Lawson.
I’d add Randolph too

I don’t necessarily think that’s entirely fair to say. It’s going to be a long road back personnel wise before any coach (O’Shea included) has success here.
Despite what O’Shea thinks, we need a total overhaul. The roster is ancient and being held together with duct tape and chewed gum.
That’s just it. When the team was at its best, they had 2 very good co-ordinators and no less than 3 all star/HOF level players on each side of the ball, all around their prime. (Biggie, WJ, BA, Jeffcoat on D. Andrew, Yoshi, Bryant, Lawler on O)The team was primarily built through FA, with a lot of Ringmaiden-era holdovers making up the bulk of rest of the roster.
MOS has a lot of faults right now but really, unless the personnel department hits a bunch of home runs, it’s going to be a couple rough years no matter who’s coaching.16 hours ago, Booch said:We can't drag our feet...that's part of the reason we had to settle with Hogan...also why we ended up missing on some FA's
This is key as well, they screwed around soo much last offseason.

Looks like the team hasn't quit after all.
If nothing else they played with the bomber logo with some ******* pride
Now go win this thing
**** you alexander
Yeah I underestimated their tenacity. That first half looked sooo bad. I’m happy to be wrong here if they pull it out

Yeah. We were down 17-0 in the '84 Grey Cup too...so it is possible.. but I'm not feeling too hopeful here.
There’s no Tyrone Jones (or anyone) to make a play to get us back in games with this team though. Honest question, have they come back from a deficit at all this year?

Again..the appearance of another poorly prepared...woefully uninspired and already outschemed squad..and that's before halftime adjustments
Clean the house Mr miller
I’ll always love MOS and Walters for what they’ve done in the past but yeah the run is over and done.
Sadly, it is time to clean house.- Deiter Fan, Booch, sportmentary2012 and 3 others

If Parker doesn’t want to play football, sit him down. Embarrassing.

Too bad we didn’t have 2-3 other DL to use who can get pressure on the quarterback..

Cheap flag, he was playing the ball

Cause they know what an idiot oshea is from previous playoffs...
What i wanna know is what the thought process was to use Corcoran over Clercius...sure he know superstar but makes his plays...can offer a physical mismatch and presence...has had some big catches...did nothing to work himself off the starter spot
Corcoran offers none of that...still makes rookie mistakes...is a mismatch really to nobody and is slow AF
Corcoran is useless. A poor man’s Adam Eckert isn’t going to do anything for the offence. They could have dressed Echols.
May as well just have Tui out there and run double tight every play. -

Don't turn the ball over on offence, and don't go away from Brady for long stretches...I don't care "what the defence gives us" or that they "stacked the box" demoralize them by running right into it like we used to do....if we want it more then prove it, smack them harder and grind out the rough yards....we are NOT going to win this game by "airing it out".....
Agreed. Whenever they’ve thrown out the “take what the defence gives us” line this year it’s been after they looked like crap. If all the defence is giving you is 2 yard outs to Sterns, you’ve got to just put the ball in the hands of your best player.

Just speculating, but I think Andrew Harris and Hardrick had as much or more to do with building the “culture” here as anyone.
The team lost a lot of the edge they played with after those guys left.
Not the sole reason it declined by any means but their mentality was a huge part of driving the dominance of 2021.
Combine that with the natural decline in play/loss of Biggie, WJ and other guys with big leadership qualities aging or moving on.
Not really replacing/bringing in those type of magnetic personalities through FA or scouting and you’re left with the serviceable but unspectacular types that dominate the roster now.

Biggest game of the yr...Likely our worst and poorest thought out lineup of the yr...just pathetic...but again, not shocked in the least...self sabotage once again...definitely time to cut bait with Osh...win or lose this game...its time
If we do scratch out a win it will not be because of this brilliant use of who we have under contract...
I can tell you several instances guys said thanks...but going with a different opportunity...
Sad eh? And wasn't a stretch and going out on a limb with wild conspiracy rhetoric...just based on what we have seen..what we know...and who's in charge...hopefully for the last game...I want a win...expect a loss and one where we were never really in it...and I am sure we will see a couple real stupid ingame decisions and a good chance we get schooled again in second half adjustments...hope I wrong in that prediction tho...
I’m pretty sure Eugene Lewis was one. I know they were going after him.

Once again, I am pissed at the approach taken in a home Grey Cup year.
Big time.
Makes me wonder if we are screwed salary-cap wise or if possibly Winnipeg is back to being an avoided destination in FA
