while that may be true when you consider as a whole that a CFL team has a cap of $5.75M for 2020 and the XFL only a $4M cap for 2020, but when you compare those totals on a 'per game' average you get a very different perspective...  now taking that into consideration, the CFL pays $319,444 per game or S6,944 per player, on average... the XFL will pay $400,000 per game or $7,962 per player, on average... a non QB player in the XFL that plays on a 5-5 team will make $55K, on average, not to mention playoff money and performance bonus... go undefeated and that can put another $11K in your pocket, plus playoff bonus... now, when you take into account the dollar conversion rate that becomes $72.7K on a 5-5 team to $87.3K for being on an undefeated team, plus playoff bonus... PLUS the XFL provides housing for all players that simply request it AND you play 8 fewer regular season games and your season runs from Feb thru April (3 months) vs. the CFL whose season runs July thru November (5 months)...
also, when players look at what happened with the AAF, even though it failed, upon failing there were still 100 AAF players that signed NFL deals... 83 made to camps... and at last count 17 actually remain in the NFL on either an active roster (8) or a practice roster (9)... may not sound like a huge number but not bad for a league that lasted all of what, 8 games?  many players will view the XFL as potentially a faster track to the NFL for no other reason than those aforementioned numbers... however, I don't think it will necessarily hurt the CFL as I believe they will both still be pulling players from different 'pools'... for some, the CFL isn't an option to them for whatever reason; relocating to another country, passport issues, real job opportunities, or some will continue to work state side waiting for a call... the CFL has to cut some players, a lot of them untested at the professional level due to nothing more than the ratio and will ultimately land in the XFL...
the one key area that could possibly be effected is the QB position as both leagues have similar pay opportunities for those positions... however, on the bright side, how many Div 1 FBS QBs wash out in the NFL while FCS and lower division QBs actually make it? many overlooked for the level of ball they played or the school they attended... however, all 8 of the designated starting QBs have had NFL experience, some more than others... Cardale Jones actually started 11 NFL games...
bottom line, the pool of talent is and will be large enough moving forward to provide adequate talents for both leagues... as many here have witnessed, the games are different, one player may thrive in the CFL and bomb in the XFL or NFL, or vice versa... when you consider there are over 13,000 players that graduate each year, there are a lot of potential 'diamonds' out there, it may just be a little tougher for everyone to find them though, but they're out there...

I personally thought Edmonton would be right up their with us and Calgary this season. I also thought Sask would be on the outside staring up at the three of us.

nice job and a great way to memorialize the entire event! adding the engraved plate was a nice touch!
if you have issues with your inserts staying in play you may think about doing something like a blue and gold double matting with pockets cut in the matting to keep things where you want them... for me, it seems short of using some sort of adhesive, which would ultimately damage your print, inserts will eventually move around in the frame... just a suggestion...
but you did a really nice job with it and very reasonably!

It is definitely  something that some people have a hard time dealing with.  While others are able to take an opinion and learn from it, or simply engage in a civil conversation about it...

noun noun: opinion; plural noun: opinions a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. "I'm writing to voice my opinion on an issue of great importance"

In true Giants fashion, every CFL free agent gets a workout with them. It's almost written into the CBA.

If Nichols is going to follow lapo to Ottawa because he knows his system....... then it's going to be real easy for the Bombers to defend the redblacks next season.
