Not when it comes to a 3 way tie.  A three way tie i believe comes down to wins and losses against both other teams.  In order to see a 3 way tie happen Winnipeg would need to win both against the stamps.  So Winnipeg's record vs Calgary/Sask would be 4 and 2.  Sask's record vs Calgary/Winnipeg would be 2 and 3 and Calgary's record would be 2 and 3.

If you sweep, Calgary finishes at best 11-7

You split , bc beats CGY

    We go 1-3

    And we're all 11-7

    Cgy is 3-2 and first

    You're 3-3 and 2nd

    We're 2-3 and 3rd

Cgy beats bc, a 3 way tie not possible

Yes, when we win, they suddenly disappear.

    Personally

I'd prefer walking into a den of well-fed happy content lions than a den of hungry angry nasty "got a burning scab on my nutsack" lions

So without trying to sound troll like,

I need you to win so I can join the conversation ( unless it's against the riders- then I just pout for a week)

I'm a big believer that you have to let a QB stay in for extended periods of time for them to get into a rhythm. Platooning is no good for anyone...awful idea.

Not really platooning- if the starter is playing well then it never happens , more like a rebreather , only used in the certain situation where it looks like the young QB needs a mental reset, before they get sucked into a panic vortex

  4. MOS has always been one of the more creative coaches, eg leaving the short yardage QB in for the play after the first down with a hurry up call

I can see him going with Streveler,  but if 2 or 3 straight drives end as 2 and outs and it looks like the young QB is getting rattled, then ZC trots out for one series only , while Streveler watches with the coach, to see the plays and timing from the sidelines ,;with the full understanding that Streveler goes back in

Ken Miller did a similar thing to Durant back in 08-09

  5. Just a wee bit of trolling, but my 2cents-

I can only base on the history I know, but in comparison- Shivers and Barrett took over the Riders at the end of the 90's- a team that had brief flashes but zero consistency

Over the next 6 years we were regularly more competitive,  but could never seem to get much over .500

2006, we had a stud RB, decent oline, star DE and LB, and again were 9-9

Tillman and Austin take over Dec 2006,

And with a few tweaks to the roster deliver a grey cup in 2007

    Sometimes change is necessary

any idea how many years Chamblin got on his deal? Nobody's talking about the possibility that the Argos go full moron and keep him on next year.....also, if they do can him, and they're on the hook for his salary, it might impede just how much money they can throw at Osh. If this were the old days, where you could give a guy a blank cheque, it would be a LOT tougher to keep Osh around...

So you've heard the rumour that Taman is dusting off his good sweatpants?

  7. Pains me to ask cuz I like the guy, but has WJ5 been reading his own press clippings too much, or is he injured?

He doesn't seem to want to make any push or force,

Has his moments,  when he buckles down and bill rushes he still gets it done

He is pulling up and going for the pick or knockdown way too much

Many plays he was separated from his blocker by 2 or 3 yards

Jeffcoat is playing like willie should be

( but other ex riders are hurting you more)
