So Saskatchewan will then get to face another backup again for the final two games....  that team has horse shoes.

Not that I'm disagreeing with you ,  the depth charts do show we have faced opponents missing their starters,

But at what point is the backup no longer the backup?   Otherwise I could ( but again I won't) argue that all but one of our opponents played our backup this year

Week two Fajardo was our starter, and has been since

Kilgore will have 5 Or 6 starts by the time we see him,  so who knows what he'll be like

Chris Streveler scored 3 TDs last week giving him 12 and a single-season WPG record for a QB. Old record: 11, Matt Dunigan 1993. (Streveler is now just 2 TDs short of the CFL record for a QB of 14 set in 1991 by Doug Flutie and tied last year by James Franklin).

These aren’t just stats. They’re a vital part of why our offence has been so productive, leading to success, and success usually comes from having good stats.

That must mean good stats are good.

    I’m so confused.. 🤔

Ask an eskimo fan how " good stats " are working out for them ?

This thread is sure helping me pass the time while the wife sleeps...... all this love for Big Chris .... I can't wait to tell her when she wakes up.

Streveler throwing for over two hundred yards this Saturday and a win is what we all need.

Hope things are going ok with your wife, my thoughts.

Streveler is fun to watch, and I'd rather try to tackle a moose- crap he's strong on the run

Get him outside , cuz only the DT's are stronger than him 1 on 1 , and get him reps- he needs muscle memory and timing at game speed

Sure, play this week to kick our ass, but then use the remaining games to get him ready for playoffs - mid and long throws so he has his mechanics down, not just trying muscle the long balls

Once again- hope the banjo bowl is your biggest worry this weekend

    its that even allowed?

No   Unless they've changed rule 6 section 4 article 4

    Article 4 — Designated Quarterback

Prior to the game, a team is required to designate three players who shall be permitted to alternate for each other during the game at the Quarterback position exclusively. Not more than one such player may be in the game at any time and none of the three can enter the game as a member of Team B.

Beasts don't drop 40% of their targets.

Haven't seen Matthews be a beast since the Super Bowl.  Wouldn't even say he was a beast in his first run here, he's 6'5 235 so that gets him a lot of run.  His routes and his hands are inconsistent and always have been.  He doesn't do YAC and he doesn't do much to win contested balls, he hasn't evolved.  Montreal is a good fit because if he gets on the roster he'll be the 3rd or 4th target at best.

Greg Carr, Prechae Rodriguez, Adarius B as a Rider ( had a transformation when he molted into other colors)  size alone does not equal beast

There is some truth to Brown's comments. We don't run an offense where many wr will flourish. It's basically been Adams. Lapo's system seemingly doesn't allow for 3-4 wr to excel like Calgary's and Edmonton's do.

Works with players like Dressler - willing to work to gain the separation,  make the most of the throws, not beeatch, just do his job

( note I said LIKE Dressler,  congrats to him on his new career in Bismark, )

Found this video on the Internet. We all know the CFL has attendance issues. Back in 1977 when Montreal got 70,000 to a home game with the Argos. Back when the CFL was relevant to Canadians. When teams sold out their games routinely. Halfway thru a 16 game schedule & already the CFL had attracted a million fans to its games league wide. Hard to believe that today.

The way BCs season has gone this is the year to try to promote hard

Let each season ticket holder buy a block of 10 seats for 100$ in one of those deserted sections - get butts in the seats   try to entertain them
