BOTH.
Nichols has channeled his inner Drew Willy for the last 2 seasons
LaPo is simply just a puss with no testicles

He caught that.
Good call. Wasn't a catch on replay

Man I can't believe how hot garbage NIchols has been on D. Get him off the field!! /sarcasm
But seriously this is embarrassing for our D. Calgary has struggled all season on offense and on 5 days rest they're pushing us around. I don't even know what to say.
Nichols has 40 yards passing
-
Offense needs to respond.
27 yards passing so far.
-
Sayles takes too many penalties

Arbuckle is the next CFL qb. He's better than Streveler

Special teams in the first 5 games gave our offence a shorter field and made for a longer field for the opposition. The last 2 games they’ve not played as well and our starting field position has proved that.
I hope that Ritchie has coached those mental errors out of his players.
It’s going to be a tough game but if we can limit our errors on both defence and on offence. This is a winnable game.
Lapo and Ritchie need to call a near perfect game but the execution must be there as well.
Hoping for a victory but I’m not going to jump off a bridge if we lose. There 10 more games left and lots of time to get things right.
Or Lapo/Nichols need to actually drive 90 yards for once instead of being gifted short fields all night

I think some people still forget that Nichols is - by far - the best QB we've had since Kevin Glenn 1.0... I like Nichols and I'm 100% confident that the best version of him is good enough to win a Grey Cup... where I'm starting to get very concerned.... is how often are we getting the best version of Nichols??... at this point, it's 4 out of 7 games.... which is not often enough...
This is how I see it as well. Nichols is Glenn 2.0. If he has a good team he'll go over .500 perennially, and that's near impossible for a coaching staff to give up on. (As a fan as well, i never want to re-live 3-15)
To me, Glenn had much better accuracy, a quicker release but suuuuucked in cold weather and under pressure.
Nichols, in my opinion has proven that he can perform in the cold, he can be mentally tough, but there's just absolutely no consistency. Also he's terrible at mid range throws and just plain misses his targets way too often.

We're still a contender.
Relax.

Up by 6 with 90 seconds left. Huge turnover by the D and Nichols goes two and out.
This loss is on Nichols and O'shea

I know our dline is very good but I dont see them getting as many sacks as we should with all that talent.
They're an absolute brick wall against the run. Less flashy, but way more impactful!

I'm not a Nichols fan, but it's nice to see him placing the blame on himself. In years past he finger pointed and whined and blamed everyone else when things were his fault.
Could be a sign of maturity as a starter.
Eat it, move on.

Nobody could hold on to the ball and Nichols sucked.
It was bound to happen. The difference now is we have a team that'll bounce back - including Nichols.

You think a coach who finally has a winning record and dominant team will ditch for a complete tire fire with no fans?
Usually no.
But Mike O'shea is a unique case. The guy lived and breathed Argo football for two decades.
He owes us nothing. He's been instrumental in turning this franchise around from the laughing stock to an elite team and destination.
O'shea is loyal and won't renege on the team, but if the HC job is open in Toronto this offseason I could absolutely see him leaving.

Toronto is going to get a new crew for 2020, I believe. On a related note, how many years do MOS/Walters have on their deals? Might be time for an extension.
Walters is signed through 2020, O'shea's ends this offseason.
I think we need to lock up O'shea before he bolts for the argos HC job. I mean, that has to be his dream job.

if that was to have happened...being a high profile person in the city...I am sure it would have hit the news wire that night....and if you have so much intel...what other players were there and what was root cause of the fracass..
15ish other players and they started it.
Matthews isn't laying charges because he can't. He started a brawl.
He needed to be tazed so first responders could perform first aid.

To be fair, you did paint it as something that was going to cause him to get cut
He started a 40 person fight and had to be tazed by police after being stabbed lol
