  1. Or he played well with the Bombers because there was more talent surrounding him on that line. He was paid huge bucks by the Lions & brought in to be a leader & I just don't see it. Looks like another great move by Hervey.
  2. I don't see how you can say that. The Lions have looked terrible in every game they have played.
  3. Whatever. He is a pylon. Along with the other 4 pylons. Foucault was the worst pylon of all of them. Truth is that line absolutely stinks.
  4. Well Kenney has only been Premier for 3 months so I doubt the economic situation is all his fault.
  5. We got Nichols for a 7th round pick which is equivalent to a bag of 7 practice balls. Thanks Ed!
  6. We were always told that Reilly would never have come here. Whether that's true or not... We were ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-d.... so bad at the time. One of the worst teams in CFL history that I doubt Reilly would have ever signed here.
  7. I like seeing Reilly & Chungh struggle. Chungh fits in well with that group of pylons in BC.
  8. You mean, like the fireman in the commercial where he complains that he has to shave everyday?
  9. Yeah, we do know what we're doing. It was time for the Spend Train with Notley as the engineer to be pulled into the station & put out of service. She was never going to win a 2nd term. You know the NDP were never going to get the economy moving again.
  10. Nothing is more boring than watching an NHL player being interviewed.
  11. The Alouettes Country Club. Where deadwood rises to the top.
  12. Yeah, I agree with that.
  13. I don't think it's players at all. It's coaches & the teams. They don't want anyone to know what is going on. This is a recent event as teams used to be forthcoming about injuries & how long players would be out. Now it's upper body this, lower body that & it's all secretive. I really don't know if that gives teams an advantage but coaches & managers seem to think so. It's the nature of the game now.
  14. Thirty years? More like 20 plus 1. Bombers pissed that Grey Cup away thinking the Stamps would just lie down & let them win. Dave Ritchie didn't do enough to reign in some of his players who were beaking off to the media all week in Montreal. I remember that game & it still pisses me off.
  15. HTH can Huawei still be selling phones in this country?
  16. That could very well be. The Wettenhalls sure overstayed their welcome. Just like Braley in BC.
  17. You don't lose $12.5 million & not try to find where all the money was spent & how. Otherwise you do know.
  18. This is about as close to proof that you're going to get, Jacquie. Even the Montreal Alouettes beat writer Stu Cowan doesn't believe Als President Patrick Boivin didn't know what was going on with the salary cap. According to Cowan, "If Reed was indeed circumventing the CFL salary cap & that was why he was fired, you have to figure that Boivin knew what his GM was doing and you have to wonder how long this was going on. If Boivin didn't know what was going on as President & CEO of the team, that's even worse. Boivin seems to have thrown Reed under the team bus". There you have it. Cowan, who is close to the team figures Boivin probably knew what Reed was doing. Although he isn't 100% certain. https://montrealgazette.com/sports/football/cfl/montreal-alouettes/stu-cowan-secrecy-over-kavis-reed-firing-paints-alouettes-in-bad-light?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  19. You just gave Tburg a reason to be waiting in the weeds.
  20. Mostly Burnham & Arceneaux.
