  1. The game yesterday was entertaining. Everyone who watched it agreed.
  2. I can't imagine being a fan of the Cardinals, being 64 years old & never having seen my team win a championship. While the Patriots win 6 Super Bowls in 19 years. And they last won 8 years before I was born. Now wonder the Cardinals played in 3 cities.
  3. There are even more massive droughts in the NFL. The Chicago/St. Louis/Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals at 72 seasons & the Detroit Lions at 62. Then a whole bunch of teams who've never won a Super Bowl at 54 seasons including the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans. Minnesota Vikings, LA Chargers, Cincinatti Bengals & Atlanta Falcons. Cleveland Browns would be on that list but as they suspended operations for 3 seasons they are at 51.
  4. Argos need to win football games to be legit. They'll pay him.
  5. Yeah, 84 game schedule. So hard to say thank you after a loss. Imagine if your wife or girlfriend did something nice for you & you refused to acknowledge it because damn, you had a bad day at work? There goes the domestic bliss out the door. So, go slap the kids, kick the dog & beat up the misses. What a weak excuse.
  6. And quality quarterbacks in this league aren't like it was even a few years ago when you could pull off a trade & get a backup ready to make his mark.
  7. Saying Picard is a slave master tis no joke. I happen to like the slower pace of Picard. Not like Discovery where the action starts thirty seconds in, goes the entire episode, things blowing up, ships being destroyed & life forms being killed. All the while trying to keep up with a plot that goes in 3 different directions simultaneously.
  8. Bomber running back Tim Jessie did that in 1988. Won the Super Bowl with Washington in January & then the Bombers in November. Just a little Bomber trivia.
  9. Crunch time coming in 9 days. Hopefully we get Jefferson back.
  10. Again, what difference does that make? Did he make his screw ups when he was hurt on the sidelines or on the field when cleared to play?
  11. He could have said thank you. He didn't. That's the story.
  12. Didn't his mama teach him no manners???
  13. Sigh. Sometimes I feel just like Scotty
  14. What do injuries have to do with it? He also had 2 seasons under his belt as a sometimes starter. Whenever Pipkin played the Als lost. At times last season, he looked clueless out on the field. The BC game he fumbled victory away on the goal line. He showed no signs of progressing. Indeed, he regressed. He never played with confidence. He always played scared. When a qb plays he can't panic & has to have his wits about him. Yet, Pipkin played for a head coach who was a former quarterback that certainly understands the position & the pressure that goes with it. If Pipkin can't show something playing for Khari then how will he show anything with someone else?
  15. Nope, with the issues that Collaros has had, why would they want another qb to develop when they have McGuire? They'll need a veteran qb, someone who can take the field & give the team a chance to win without Collaros. With Pipkin, I don't think that is possible.
  16. Vernon Adams had a breakout year. Fourth in the league in passing yards, In 16 games, Adams attempted 431 passes & completed 283 for 3,942 yards. He had a 65.7% completion average with 24 touchdowns & 13 interceptions. His interception % was 3.1%. & Adams was tied for the league lead with Dane Evans & Cody Fajardo for yds per completion among starters at 9.1 yards. He had a QB Efficiency Rating of 100.9. That's not too shabby for a first year starter & hardly average. So yes, I'd say he flourished under Khari's system. I think Adams will only get better as time goes on. The guy is perfectly suited for the Canadian game.
  17. I see I wasn't the only one who said something ridiculous yesterday. Tough crowd.
  18. Do they have the $$$ for both? They have a decision to make.
