  1. Maybe he should. Their luck is going to run out one of these seasons.
  2. Wow, I just hope with all these guys getting clearances to wrestle that someone doesn't suffer a devastating injury.
  3. All he needs to do is drink some of this stuff & he'll be fine.
  4. What are your thoughts about Edge's comeback? The way the feud with randy Orton was set up & is Edge at risk of further injury. Ziggler none too happy the spear he took from Edge in RR wasn't shown.
  5. Maybe there really is hope for Davis... Brett never took himself too seriously.
  6. He started the turnaround when he first started in 2016. Continued on to last season. He was 7-2 before he was injured. I hope his success continues elsewhere. Thank you, Matty.
  7. Which means NXT is unable to carry itself on its own. Finn Balor is already there.
  8. That OL isn't as good as the Stamps think it is. Shane Bergman suffers from vertigo & when it strikes can miss a bunch of games. Brad Erdos also has injury problems & missed most of last season. Kasitati aaat RT is a pylon & the worst OL on the team. They re-signed Kasistati & are letting Dennis go.
  9. Gotta love the Bomber fanbase. Some fans are upset for signing Zach Collaros for so much money. The guy who won us a Grey Cup for the 1st time in 29 years. They wanted to see him to go to free agency to see what other teams would pay which is laughable as then he'd sign elsewhere. The same people bitching & whining about Collaros would be the same ones complaining if we let him go & signed Nichols. There's just no pleasing these people & quite frankly that side of the fanbase that constantly complain no matter what they did are a joke.
  10. Stamps letting Derek Dennis go to free agency. Anybody else wondering why Hufnagel would let a perennial CFL All Star tackle go when his $650,000 a year qb is coming off major shoulder surgery? Stamps renegotiated BLM's contract to be able to have more flexibility with the cap & then cheap out protecting Mitchell's backside... On another note, Mitchell's GC & MOP rings were stolen January 2nd out of his truck while parked out on the street. Calgary Police made an arrest but the rings are long gone. Why would he leave valuables like that in his pickup??? If they were mine, they'd be locked away in a safety deposit box at my bank.
  11. I don't think you have anything to worry about in that regard. When my son was a high school qb here in Calgary hack in 2008 & 09 he went to a couple of Dave Dickenson passing Academy camps in back to back years. Pete worked with the receivers those 2 years while Dave worked with the qbs. He was a hard working coach who stayed in the background. Dave always had good things to say about him. From everything I've heard about the guy that is what he is about. Great assistant coach & team guy.
  12. How long will it be before the Jets want a new & bigger building?
  13. It made us contenders for two seasons. Now, we're slipping. Next year is the tenth season in the NHL & yes we have some really good players but it's more like 7 seasons of futility.
  14. No... The Bombers shouldn't just give up. Don't bring in guys that are in their 30's & long past their Best Before Date. Bring in FA receivers in their prime. And how much of those failures are on LaPo & that conservative passing offense he ran? Need a 7 yard first down? Well then, throw 4. Need 6 yards? Throw 5. Or he shut the passing game down with a 7 point lead.
  15. Even a healthy qb can suffer a devastating injury. Who's to say Fajardo won't suffer an extensive injury & miss significant playing time. Football is a collision sport.
  16. Sign some meaningful & impactful free agents on July 1st. The Draft & Develop over the past decade hasn't worked out. Get a team that is a contender & not a pretender & the atmosphere & sellouts will come back.
  17. Matt Nicholls has been released. I want to thank him for his play the past 4 seasons & elevating the Bombers from an also ran to Grey Cup contender. I want to wish him all the best wherever in the CFL he ends up playing. I agree that while he didn't get us over the finish line he got us in position to do it. Another reminder that a player's career in football can be over in the snap of two fingers because of injury or the path one was on significantly altered.
  18. And that is why there is an obituary page in every major newspaper in the world. How would you suggest we honour every person who dies in the world today?
  19. We don't know the people in China dying. Or the person who dies in a car accident, disease or is murdered. We knew who Kobe Bryant was. He wasn't faceless & he had a name. We know what he accomplished on the BBall court during his Laker career. Some fans had a very close affinity with Kobe despite never meeting him. His death affected a lot of people so therefore it's newsworthy. If you don't get that then there's nothing more I can say to explain it.
  20. That's why most head coaches fail & never win championships.
  21. The scope of the tragedy, his daughter as well as another girl being killed. And he was an icon. I am old enough to remember Martin Luther King & RFK's asassinations. Within 2 months of each other. Things went absolutely crazy. There was grief, despair, anger & violence. Riots in the streets of American cities where the phrase long, hot summer was coined.
