Osh, to me looks lost. I don't think he has any answers so he tells us that game film tells the truth. We all know his shortcomings as a head coach. After 13 seasons, he's the last guy I believe that can build us a winner. But relax, he'll be here until his contract expires due to the coaching & admin cap. Even if we don't win another game.

Some of these guys have a number in their head that they want to be paid & if they don't get it then they retire. He could just say that's it for football if teams won;t pay him. Or he could sign for a lot less. Gino Lewis call. Looking at the Bombers the last couple of games they have way more holes to fill than an overpriced & old receiver. How many of these old guys have we signed to catch the ball that never worked out the past decade?

I'd be interested but I don't like the salary Lewis has. He just isn't worth it. I doubt if he'd take a 50% salary cut to play here anyway on a team that realistically isn't much better than Ottawa. We won a couple of our games with smoke & mirrors. We have so many issues & holes everywhere on the roster. It's just so sad how this team was allowed to go to seed while living in the past. Bringing in an old veteran like Lewis for 10 games? How much would he actually help us? He could be invisible here, as well. I think we're stuck with who we have & where they play. If they're going to upgrade it needs to be on the OL, at linenacker & secondary. That's where the money needs to be spent.

You can put lipstick on a pig but at the end of the day, it's still a pig. No guarantee Lewis would help us at this point plus we'd have to eat the huige contract he has. His production has fallen so far this season that it's unbelievable. Other teams can draft & develop great Canadian receivers. Not us.

The answer isn't bringing in an overpaid & over the hill 33 year old receiver for just this season for a playoff run that will last one game. We hitched our wagon to Cobb & like 3 more years of Osh we're stuck with both of them. Every team would be sub 500 without a capable starter at qb. I don't get that argument.

Yeah, sorry. Harry Knight was the qb & not Walters. He was our MLB.

For me, backup QB Harry Knight who played for the Bombers behind Dieter Brock from 1975-78. The graduate of the University of Maryland was brought in by Bud Riley & sure made an impression during his time here. Knight seemed more poised & "pro ready" than Brock. Brock was very inconsistent when he was a young pro. He seemed to have trouble reading defenses & Riley had him rolling out left & right to be able to read just half the field. Knight seemed more relaxed & in charge than Brock was. Brock had superior arm strength but Knight just seemed to have a better handle on the offense. Yet, Brock always started. Much to a lot of fans chagrin. Some media members started writing that Brock wasn't smart enough to play qb in thje CFL which he took very personally. Some of these writers did a real hatchet job on Brock. The contraversy continued for a couple of seasons until Knight had to retire because of a damaged rotator cuff which back then was a career killer. Knight had come up here a year after Brock in 1975 & took Brock to the limit competiton wise. Fans loved Knight. However. Ray Jauch put a stop to all that in 1978 when he took over as HC saying Brock was his guy. It was Jauch who got rid of the rollouts & OC Jim Erkenbech developed Brock into the deadly pocket passer with the lightning quick release that we all came to know. He went from a roll out qb with half the reads to a qb who could read the entire field. Once he learned how to do that, his passing really improved. Then Knight's rotator cuff injury halfway thru 1978 sealed the deal & Knight retired. If he hadn't been injured, Knight might have been our Number 1 qb for years to come as he played very well whenever he did go in for Brock in relief. It would have been interesting to have seen what might have happened had Knight stayed healthy.

The Bombers need an actual qb coach on the sidelines to talk to Brown & Elgersma & to calm them down or pick them up. Condell is too busy calling plays to worry about them on game days. he has the entire offense to worry about. think about it. We have a running backs coach yet we don't have a qb coach. Our qbs need help during the games yet they don't get it. Someone needs to tell Brown getting an extra 2 yards running forward instead of sliding isn't worth it if he misses 3 games because of a lower back injury. He has to be a lot, lot smarter than that. Whoops, sorry.

The Trinity isn't a normal boss/employee relationship that we see in all other businesses. I mean, you can go to your boss's place for a bbq, go for a few bwers after work or out to dinner. As long as you produce, all is fine. However if you don't, the same boss who bought you a beer or paid for your dinner will put you out on the street without thinking about it twice because he has a boss he has to answer to. The bottom line is do your job, do it well & produce or be gone. There's no way that the Bomber organization is like that. We don't even know what the true relationship is between Miller, Walters & Osh. It certainly isn't like anywhere else. These guys are best buddies & obviously have each other's backs. Miller knew that giving Walters & Osh their 3 year deals wasn't the right thing to do but he still did it. I could have lived with two but not 3.

He's been here going on 13 years. At some point, Osh needed to go a year ago. The message gets old & stale. .

They had an identity. Tough & physical. Bully Ball & FIFO. Then, they just went away from both. I think Walters & Osh started reading their own press clippings. I think they got fat & sassy. Now, a full rebuild will have to be done. They don't want to do it but I think it's inevitable now. They blew it.

Aggressive to a point. They had a great first day. then they just..... stopped. It was 2025 off season all over again. There were some good young Canadian receivers but Osh must have told Walters, "We got Cobb & Corcoran.... we good". No, we weren't. So, again aggressive to a point.

Osh coached scared. There was good reason to be.

The stress is real.
