What a bunch of Keystone Cops the RedBlacks are. Unbelievable. That first quarter for them was absolutely dreadful. I fell asleep watching this game in the third quarter & missed the rest of ot. I had it pvr'd but chose to delete the game without rewatching the second half like I usually would. How angry would we be here if the Bombers were like that?? The absolute ineptitude at all levels of their organization from ownership on down to the players? Just brutal. That team is going to fold (again). This time for good. Like, how can things be allowed to have gotten that bad?!!

Brutal play call. On that Argo fumble isn;t a possession change automatically reviewed? The Command Centre should have overturned that play as the Argo ball carrier clearly lost the ball before he touched the ground. Why bother having a CC if they can't get the calls right?

Not necessarily. Maybe he will & maybe he won't. Lots of coaches who had success with one team & win championships don't do it somewhere else. Jim Trimble in Hamilton left the Ti Cats in 1963 for greener pastures in Montreal where he was canned a year later. Eagle Keys won 3 Grey Cups in Edmonton as a player & a coach. He moved on to Saskatchewan in 1965 & coached the Rough Riders to their very first championship in 1966. He then left the Riders in 1970 to sign with the Lions where they were mediocre for 4 seasons & got canned. In 2015, a week after winning the Gry Cup in Edmonton as HC, Chris Jones bolted from the Eskimos ro Head Coach Chris Jones bolted for the Eskimos to the Saskatchewan Roughriders to be their new HC & GM. he was fired after 3 seasons. Sometimes it's hard to recreate lightning in a bottle. That's how the Trinity rolls. That's how it's always been here under them since they began in Old Testament biblical times. They always believe they're right & everybody else is wrong. Osh is stubborn as hell. What we need is a 4 to 5 win season to give all 3 of these guys running the team a huge dose of reality to change how things are being done. ten win seasons & being one & don e in the playoffs won't do it because that's an "okay" season. Ten wins is still acceptable to most fans. Like everything else, when things get ignored they break. The longer the Trinity waits to try to make the necessary changes then the worse it's going to get.

In Dinwiddie's defense, he's the boss. If he said to the DC simplify things & he said no or ignored the ask then Dinwiddie is in his right to fire him. if true, Fields chose not to listen. But throwing Brown, Lewis & Fields under the bus makes things look really bad for Dinwiddie. In other news, OSEG (who own the RedBlacks) may not want to spend the money regarding their share the cost of the Lansdowne Park reno that is scheduled to start this coming off season. The City of Ottawa refuses to pay its part to replace the roof that is on the old grandstand already there. Season ticket holders are cancelling as they want a roof over their heads like they're used to but the City of Ottawa keeps saying no. With just 15000 showing up every game OSEG may cut their losses & fold the team which would kill the renovations. That way OSEG can get out of their share of the construction costs before shovels go in into the ground. The RedBlacks have lost their fanbase & may never get them back. The lawsuits are going to be flying back & forth.

I have no idea how Osh & Walters expected Willy to go out & perform when he was getting beat up on nearly every passing play. His linemen were the absolute worst in the CFL. And it wasn't even close.

The Bombers cooked him. He isn't the first player Osh did this to. Look at what happened to Dalton Schoen. Willy was physically assaulted every game he played & that one bad leg injury he got was really nasty. They played Willy until the fight was totally beaten completely out of him. I always thought that the Bombers just threw him to the wolves & didn't do nearly enough to protect him. Then they brought in that huge guard from Edmonton with the last name of Bond & the OL was immediately better after they ruined Willy's career.

So then, why did so many fans here & elsewhere want us to bring those 3 back? We all know what we get with Osh & Walters. Lots of you were so happy they re-signed. I just don't get it. We had a chance to completely restructure our mgmt & coaching staff with no penalties & instead we just brought them all back & nothing changed. So many happy faces last November. The old saying come sto mind, "Be careful what you wish for as it may come true".

They have to change the ratio somewhere. I agree. Osh will keep the roster the way it is mostly due to a lack of depth everywhere. Walters probably won't bring anyone in to catch the ball. Staus quo. We'll ride with who we got. Whether we're 14-4 or 4-14.

Do you believe the money we could spend on Lewis could be spent elsewhere, like on the OL or defense? I do agree with ShyGuy that an old team signing another old players isn't the way to go. It's a short term solution at best. Yeah, I know it's hard to find players with the NFL & UFL hoarding guys but we're supposed to have a scouting department that need to do their jobs. There is a dearth of hungry young receivers in the US. I've seen some of these guys in action at qb workouts in California, Oregon, Washington & Idaho. My reaction is why aren't some of they playing somewhere? Yeah, the NFL & UFL have taken some of guys like that. But not all of them. If they have agents or are in some kind of database then get cracking & find someone. We never seem to do that.

I agree. if he plays for 50% less than he's making now then bring Lewis in. He has to know the days of the big payday are over. He's year to year now. Kenny Lawler is getting into that category as well. He does nothing on the field to help his qb.Lawler's the veteran & has to help the kids that are trying to be a success at qb in Hamilton. I just see a receiver who goes deep, isn't making the contested catches like he used to & sits on the ground sulking while shaking his head looking pissed off.

If Dinwiddie cut Lewis because of that interview then he is a bigger arsehole than I thought. Lewis was speaking the truth. There are guys on that Ottawa squad that don't want it badly enough & he made that pretty clear. Dinwiddie wears the GM, Scouting, HC, OC & QB Coach hats all at the same time. One man doing everything never works. He needs to be relieved of some of his duties. This is the problem with the Coach/Admin cap. Teams hire one guy & the more jobs he does means the more money they save much to the detriment of that team & its fans. The cap has to go.

No surprise there. methinks he finally found a home where he's appreciated. He still is a streaky qb but they won't find anyone better in free agency.

If Lewis wants to come here to play for 50% of his current contract then sure bring in. If he won't sign a new deal & still wants $300 grand to play here thgen no. Don't bring him in.
