No, don't agree. It's just pointing out how bad our receiving corps is as a group. And was last year. They needed to do more signibng one more impact Canadian receiver if they wanted to go with 3 yet stopped halfway thru. After day 1 of FA the signings stopped. We had a strong first day & that was it.

Exactly. Wheatfall would have had to be accounted for by DC's moreso than Cobb. Guys can be shuffled into different positions as receivers if they're 4th or fifth guys. So, I really don't care if White took Wheatfall's place. It doesn';t matter as he could have been moved. The McMahon Stadium Hare would be more of a threat than Cobb.

Dobson at Center right now would be a road grader. Right there is your answer for the OL. If the Cats moved him there then you know the Bombers knew he could have played in Kola's spot. We chose to pay the wrong guy & now the guy we kept is the guy who left's backup. Like I said, we replaced a guy with 700 yards for a Canadian who'll might get us 400. White maybe is playing Wheatfall's spot but he could have been moved to the Boundary wideout where I believe Cobb plays.

What did The Trinity really do from 2022-25?? We got to the GC from 22- 24 just for our HC to continually eff up playing injured players. We choked against the Argos. We couldn;t hold a lead against the Als in the final seconds. Ever seen a roller coaster go slowly up. up, up, then level off just to go down, down, down even faster. We're going down as a team very fast while living in the past.The time for change was this past off season.

Wheatfall has speed & can catch so that makes him more of a threat than Cobb From the role I saw that he had when Mitchell was playing he could have been an effective pass catcher in our offense. He's not a #1 or #2 receiver but he puts up numbers that defenses would have to account for him unlike what thety're doing for Cobb. As I said, if Walters & Osh didn't want Wheatfall then replace him with a free agent signing with someone better. They didn't.

Alright, using your logic... Players that can't execute a game plan, are poor tacklers, can't play mistake free football, give up bad plays at inopportune times, wilt under pressure, don't recognize coverages, continually make mental errors & can't make big plays when needed while continuing to play these same players. Then that is on the entire coaching staff as it's their decision to play them.

Plenty of ways. How did they not? Poor roster management. Head coach playing favourites. Questionable coaching personnel decisions. Moving Gabe Wallace to Rt Tackle where he was totally lost. Keeping over the hill players on the roster like Stanley Bryant & Jake Thomas before him on the roster. Poor game planning & preparation. Poor offensive & defensive scheming Poor play calling. No in game adjustments & adapting to what the other team is doing. You picked a strange time to stand up for the sorry ass coaching we're receiving now.

Coaches prepare their players to play. if they aren't properly prepared, whatever the reasons, then the poor play on the field is on coaching. Players have to be prepared to make plays when the time comes thru coverage recognition, video study, game plan prep & repetitions, proper match ups & strategy. If players don't get that because every stone that needs to be hasn't been then players aren't prepared. The Bombers looked totally disorganized Friday night. That's on coaching. Players not being ready to play because of a lack of coaching lost us the game. You can sugar coat it but that is the bottom line.

Anthony Calvillo & Marc Mueller will be Head Coaches before Buck. Do we really want another Osh disciple in charge? I don't. But it would be sooo The Trinity if a HC change was made..

Then as Dobson did step up his play, the Cats didn't overpay. The key is it worked out for them. Combine that with us keeping Kola & who got the worst deal? If The Trinity didn't want Wheatfall, fine, then go out & either draft his replacement or sign another Canadian receiver in free agency, The Bombers didn't do that, Roster decisions like this have been going on for years. Our asset allocation in terms of roster money is dreadful. We let starters walk but don't replace them. I agree with letting Lawler walk. He's not doing much in terms of leadership or production. The amount of effort he gives on the field just isn't there for what they're paying him.

At least we can afford to do it if we had to. And if this season does slip away then it'll be worth it. The problem is how can the Trinity fire each other? After what Miller did last year signing everyone to 3 year deals I don't have much hope anything will be done.

So, naturally Osh got a 3 year deal. With 9 million in the bank, why can't we just eat Osh's contract at the end of the year as an organization??? For me, that would be money well spent. Then bring in someone from another organization & start fresh.

Lawler is a headcase. Not worth anywhere near what he makes. When you need to hang onto the ball in the final two minutes down by a couple of points then that's the time to do a blind check down pass as he got hit. Ford gifts the game to Montreal. He just invents new ways to choke. Time to bulk up in the gym & get thrown into the backfield with Rountree.

I'm no Lawler fan but I disagree with you on Wheatfall. Then there's Dobson who should be ourt starting Center. Who The Trinity let walk because they wanted Kolankowski.
