Please educate me about how the nationalized American is supposed to be used and how we are not using it. I’m sincere… You’ve talked a lot about this and I don’t understand it. Not because you’re not being clear, simply I am ignorant to the issue.

  2. “I doubt it,” Riders’ head coach Craig Dickenson said. “I don’t think it was that bad, but we’ll have to see. “I didn’t see it, so I can’t comment”…

So, he says he didn’t think it was that bad but then immediately adds that he didn’t see it.…

okay. Could you make a dumber statement?

  3. I think focussing on how we got the jobbed by the refs is weak. I hate it when the rider fans do that every time their team loses. And make up huge conspiracy theories about the bombers being favoured... Like WTF? tinfoil hat city! Let’s not stoop to that level, shall we?

no, the rules are there… If we believe the ref has made an incorrect call, we have a tool to address that. We just don’t use it. So the focus has to be on the coaching not the refs.

    O’Shea continues his spiral

This is possibly a bit dramatic. 🙂

That said, I mean I remain genuinely perplexed as to why we don’t not use all the tools in the arsenal. It’s almost like he feels using your challenge on a close play is sucky or something? ?  Or, what?

Can someone explain to me why we don’t use it earlier in the game on the Schoen catch? I mean we might’ve lost but it certainly look like he caught the ball.
And speaking of Mr. Schoen, he dropped yet another ball right in his hands late in the first half that took 3 pts off the board for us. Love the guy but he has had a few critical drops this year… Like, I mean a pro receiver just can’t drop in that situation.

I think we just didn't show up soon enough...and some bad coaching decisions...and non challenges...plus...no team runs 6 dlineman.... especially 2 of whom are sub par....can argue it all u want but that's 2 games now where a loss was a direct result of it...plain and simple

True we did not have sufficient pressure to disrupt Doladinga. Plus why not challenge that sideline pass to Schoen. In first half I mean. It feels like our coach saves his challenge flags… But for what?

It's really funny how this past week we've been wringing our hands about how good Dru Brown is and how we can't afford to keep him after this year and he's gonna be a star someplace else...yada yada. Now there's talk about him being terrible and we should have kept Pigrome.... Oi.

    This.

just way, way too early to be making any firm judgements on Brown. Except that he did show tremendous potential in his game in Edmonton. Which is more than you can say for the vast majority of rookie QBs who come in. Many come in and if they have any success at all it is because they just run, run, and run (see Crum) but that is not what he did.

So I’d say we should all just take a breath… 😊

Running for your life will do that. Not to mention the play call has been horrid. I mean Brady still doesn’t have 80 yards rushing.

I agree that we have not gone to the run enough. But on a lot of those play action… The RPO stuff, it looks like Brown is pulling the ball rather than giving it to Brady. He then looks very indecisive. I am not sophisticated enough to do an analysis of bucks playcalling. I do know that buck calls the plays for Collaros and then he looks quite good.

I also think Brown has often had time and has had the happy feet.
