It's simple, Laing is a younger and better player. IF the opportunity arises to upgrade a position even more we'd be crazy not to. 'Settling' does not breed winning.

Armia is playing like you'd expect a mid 1st rounder. He has skill and if you watch, you can see his potential. Just because he isn't lighting it up now does not mean he isn't good or won't be good. Good thing some posters on here aren't talent scouts.

Armia is a keeper. Don't get all this criticism for the guy. Too high expectations for him at this point.

Yet chucking the ball when we were 2nd and long and the defenses sat back waiting for the long ball and the chance for interception goes way up. It sucked but rather hope the receiver makes the catch and can make the play. Just the way the D were positioned. Front heavy with backfield deep, it was the safer play, execution just wasn't there.

I suppose...groups like the Black Panthers, to me, are a result of years of oppression and discrimination. Yes they are extreme, no question. But when a voice speaks and stands up to that, the only recourse is to claim reverse racism. Like the bully who finally got his arse whupped after picking on the "weaker" foe. Such a touchy subject because then there are those who are too quick to play the race card when it's convenient. Such an ugly thing.

I have no problems with a combo of Kolhert and J. Feoli-Gudino (hopefully Richards steps up). Now we have Harris who is basically another receiver anyway. Really hoping D. Jones steps up and replaces Bucknor, which I have a hunch he might.

And as for the racism against white people...can white people honestly feel the same shame as minorities? No. But is it still wrong? Yes.

You make a good point, you can't cry racism and then do it and say it's OK because "we" are the ones doing it. Hypocritical if you ask me...

Ehlers-Sheifele-Wheeler has the potential to be a great line

He shows flashes of his skill and he is legit. Ekblad would be nice but we needed a highly skilled forward at the time. Gonna be fun times seeing him develop

Looking down the list of the first round of that year and not sure I'd swap him for anyone on that list. Kid has some pretty sick skills and he keeps getting better.

IMO Leggett stays at SAM, Randle goes back to corner, J.Adams to HB, Waggoner/Sherman at S, D.Jones to field side corner. D. Johnson will be in the mix at DE opposite Westerman. Probably not though as there are rumblings they are leaning towards an all International secondary...

A good start would be if next time we hear one of our peers make a disparaging remark about a minority would be to speak up and denounce it. Sad thing most of us don't have the guts. Until then, how is change supposed to happen?

True but I don't recall Lincoln freeing the "whites" or "whites" being followed around a store by security based on their skin colour or Winnipeg being labelled "Most racist city in Canada" because of stereotypes against "whites" or people referring to drunk, solvent sniffing "whites" along Main. Does racism go both ways? Sure it does, but the sooner people work together and admit it does exist on BOTH sides, all the better. Time to stop seeing people in terms of color or race, we do that and great things, and true progress, will happen.

Ugh too many Defensemen wanting to jump up on the rush not enough Defensemen that can play defense...ship Trouba or Myers out asap. Both are expendable at this point.
