Good first period on the road and Trouba has fit right in 

We ate 4th in the central 2 points behind 2nd place st louis. We are 7th in the west right now. What makes anyone think we can't make the playoffs

I completely disagree and so would the team. Our goal is too make the playoffs unless it's mathematically impossible.
I can't think of a team who would take a position of not being in the playoff hunt after a half dozen games played.

Phillips is having a great season... 10 wins ... zero losses....  2.16 GAA and 931 save %.
This guy will be the Moose back up next year.

I liked the way Myers played in the last half of the game. He played with an edge and had some nastiness to him...he needs to play like this every game.

He's doing great with the Moose like most the team... it's really his first real season with the Moose. He will be a Jet one day.

It's not too late - we probably could still swap Scheifele for Couturier.  Might have to throw something else in though just to grease the wheels.

I think the fact that this is 2 years and not 6 years like every other comparable D-Man out there speaks volumes.
Him and his agent did the right thing by not crapping on Winnipeg because if they had, this 2 year bridge deal wouldn't have turned out well for Trouba the next time he stepped on the ice.  A smart agent knows he has no leverage after the ELC and this outcome was a real possibility, and they left that door open by claiming this was about playing the "right side".
