Westerman has been good. He is trending in the direction of being dirty. I like players that play on the edge and even over it from time to time. He is walking a fine line IMHO right now

I'd consider bringing him into camp next year. Especially now that we don't have to give up anything to get him

Well, I'm a fan, so I'm stoked for another week of Bombers ball and praying for a much needed win.....

He is kicking himself into a very Bomber Friendly contract these days. I agree that he should be kept around.

the biggest problem is a lack of Drew Willy....that's not up for debate.

What`s O`Shea`s record as head coach when Willy has been healthy. Seems to me he has had a lot of games with a backup at the helm.

There's no way Khari isn't looking to get out of BC. He gets demoted to receiver's coach. I'd bring him in to replace MB in the offseason. I'd keep Hall who has improved the D as the year has gone on, he is also only in his first season. I'd likely keep O`Shea depending on how things play out. At least next year with Jones on staff you have a coaching candidate on staff to replace O`Shea if he struggles out the gate. Jones was a gun slinger, who better to work with Willy. Not to derail thread, but as a side note, current Rider mess has much to do with Chamblin chasing away- getting rid of any assistant coaches that could have been a threat to take over. I think the Bombers have had too much change in the coaching staff. I`d be looking to tweak things and stay the course.

Same as bringing in rookie players. You do your homework, make a educated guess, and hope the hell it works out.

I like to bring a former player in when possible, and I realize it usually isn't a option.  Kahari Jones, just a thought. He is working his way up. Not sure if he is ready.

I lived in Regina for almost 10 years and asked why I don't cheer for the Riders since I,live in Regina now several times. All looked at me puzzled when I said since I grew up a Bombers fan I could never cheer for anyone else.

This post is sadly very true in some ways. I left Sask right out of high school for the Alberta Oilfields. Is what it is. I also returned home at the first opportunity and have lived here many years. I don't blame anyone for moving or doing what they have to do to support their families, That's got ****-all to do with what team they cheer for. FYI I have 3 Manitoba boys on my crew here and they still like the Bombers, I wouldn't expect them to turn on the team they grew up cheering for just because they moved here.

What would sports be without rivals. The riders are and have long been our prairie rival. It is what it is.

The only stamps fans I've ever seen at mosaic were the players wives.  lol   

The other thing the Cats are doing this year is not let teams hang around. Put them out early and hit them hard. That might be the biggest difference I see in the Cats. They are meaner. Losing builds character and it builds desire.
