Thorburn is done.  His fights are all staged fights that do nothing.  Meanwhile when a player takes a run at a Jets player and Thorburn is dressed, he does nothing.  He serves no useful purpose anymore.  And I dont think any tough guys in the NHL fear fighting him. 
If he's such a positive influence in the locker room, make him the assistant equipment manager or something.

should have had 2 pts in Pittsburgh.  We freaking crushed those guys.  The last few games the Jets are finally playing physical and using their size.  I was watching the Pittsburgh feed on the Jets game as I was in the US on Direct TV and the whole game the announcers kept complaining about the mean bully Buff and the rest of the Jets being so big and nasty.  I was thinking "about time!!" - we have the size to intimidate just about any team out there, use it!  Hit people!  Score!

When I called him a floater, I wasn't specifically referring to his skating or speed.  I often see him drifting around on the ice, not really accomplishing anything...  Not contributing... at all.

Totally disagree.  Thorburn just floats around because he doesn't have the speed or skill to keep up with whoever he's playing with.  At least Tanev has the potential to still develop and he has great speed.  If he's not down with the Moose, he should be playing over Thorburn.

I'm certainly no Stuart fan, but I have to place most of the blame on Trouba, for that goal; he was way out of position.  And Laine could have done a better job picking up the trailer. 
We've had a few goals against, recently, where the forwards have been pretty lackadaisical coming back to help out.  Not a good sign.
