3DN did a live 2 round mock draft yesterday and I thought it was a good listen. They had Hodge, Abbott & Ben Grant each picking for 3 teams over the first two rounds. No hitting....no scoring......change the whiteout to a blackout ...The mourning and the moaning has started in earnest....I don't know what happened to this club but it does not resemble the team that finished the reg. season...Tough way to go out all things considered....I hope we don't get blown out in our own digs to end this thing and at least show up ....the fans deserve better...IF it ends badly I'm sure the coaching staff will be changed and if it is, I hope they make the move on the next coach quickly and not diddle around like they like they did last year

I am actually taking my boys to their first whiteout, so I just have to accept it for the experience and try not to get too annoyed at the game. I hope for them that the crowd is into it so they can get a real taste of the whiteout.

Interesting note on Julius Welschof: who was former Bomber Brandon Collier's first European recruit to sign with an NCAA program. I do believe he signed with an NFL team after the draft.

It was a chain restaurant that was across North America so not really special to only Winnipeg. I was surprised that Gasthaus Gutenburger wasn't on the list. That place is sorely missed and Winnipeg definitely could use a real german restaurant.
