Yeah, gonna make our annual football trek into Winnipeg into September from Friday to Monday that weekend. Looks like the Banjo Bowl is close to being sold out based on what the Bomber Ticket Office was telling me on Friday.

It was a chain restaurant that was across North America so not really special to only Winnipeg. I was surprised that Gasthaus Gutenburger wasn't on the list. That place is sorely missed and Winnipeg definitely could use a real german restaurant.

Nah, unfortunately I am a true sports fan. Anger will slowly turn to hope over the next couple days, and the cycle repeats.

True. Still, the jets have won more reg season games than any other Canadian team since their return in 2011. And none of those other squads have done much better in the playoffs. and when you add in the fact that Winnipeg is the least desirable market for free agents in the NHL… Well, it just helps to keep perspective.
