Between the dl/lbers and ol available our first round pick should be some one who contributes rotationally right away or a futures guy who should start and could be a star. With the wrs and the usual player/positional reach we could well end up with two of those guys.

Hergel didn’t get drafted, signed with New Orleans. I hope that’s enough to drop him to us.

Stiggers is good for the league imo. Should increase the flow of blue chip jc kids to the league.

And goalie stealing a game should be viewed as a bonus - not a necessity.

It's a cliche, but it's a cliche for a reason... You have to play a full 60 minutes every night to win a championship. The Jets, seemingly, are unable to do that. The AVS have that playoff pedigree and know how to take advantage of a team who's not fully committed to winning...

And, you can find streams for every CFL game on Reddit - decent quality too

If they played Jets hockey from start to finish but still lost, I could live with that But they aren't - and Colorado is built to take advantage of that

What bugs me the most when the Jets do their annual playoff fold is I always picture Bettman sitting in his crypt watching and going:

A run by the Jets would put this city in a good mood and act as a warmup for the Summer of Fun at the PAS (aka Fort Hew).

Honest I still want them to last awhile, once eliminated I have to bring all the Jets books that the school library is borrowing from me home (yeah it's shocking we have books on the other Canadian teams but not the Jets I have pushed for it though)

So then, what's stopping the CFL from even trying?

I still am legitimately excited for the Jets and don't think this series is over yet.... But...... Being more of a Bombers fan than a Jets fan..... I'm not super disappointed if the Jets are done in time for everyone to start getting excited for the Bombers. Hate for the Jets to be hogging the attention when the Bombers are starting TC and need the spotlight a little more.

sad to say I was in the same boat - somewhat excited for Game 1 and then after Game 2 and seeing the true colors come out again...I'm kind of meh about the entire playoffs now. Hate that in Round 2 I'll be forced once again to cheer for a Canadian team that isn't in Winnipeg. I just loathe the Canucks but I guess if they can make it to Round 3 I will have to back them...argh...but I honestly think of all the teams the Oilers have the best shot at least getting to round three, and I guess McDavid getting a cup isn't the worst thing in the world...

Might be more draft picks than udfa this year. Manu just went in the 4th to Detroit (who moved up to get him) and he was not expected to go that early. Most people had him as a late round pick.

I think we will see a lot of udfa deals this year for Canadian prospects.

Streaming on Amazon would be huge.
