  1. Past hour
  2. Im guessing this would qualify as an old Bomber game:

  5. That PP is gross. And why is your best offensive player the one stepping up to fight and then getting tossed from the game?? Christ sakes. Bowness needs to fix this ****.
  6. Whelp we are playing possum boys...didn’t Florida struggle last year right into the playoffs? Got to keep up hope! 😉
  7. Apparently Miller was number 7 in NJ also tho.
  8. Since you brought it up: Until the 2019 West Final in Saskatchewan, this game was the best one I ever saw live. Like a true heavyweight fight, trading punches in a game with a rare south wind, but one that was so intense scoring into it was impossible. So many “almost” chances, especially the cross bar preventing the Bombers their lone TD chance. And if video review existed back then the Bombers win. The lone Baltimore TD was a fumble recovery when Woodside’s knee was clearly down before the ball came out, and Pringle fumbled late and the refs called the play down when it wasn’t. Add in the messed up fake field goal (Cameron was spotting the tee and was not in the huddle to hear that the fake was on, so he was the only one not to know what the play was. Westwood would score his only career TD the following year on the same fake call, this time executed perfectly) and this loss stung. Toss in the “illegal shoe” call (which was more galling following the Edmonton playoff debacle two years later where the Esks got away with blatantly cheating in the same fashion) and Cal Murphy said this was the toughest loss he ever had as a coach - one he never got over. The only game I have been physically exhausted after watching, it was that mentally draining to be at, cheering madly bit in the end just not quite enough to carry the team to victory.
  9. Wheres Miller? 81 needs to sit up top for the duration. He's useless.
  10. Next practice I tape Kyle Connor to the boards and have guys practice their hitting on him. Dude needs to take some contact. I tell the drs to say pionk has a week long form of covid. And I switch up the top 6 significantly cuz switching guys on the 4th don’t matter. Gus tho was very good today. Better than 55. Nino scheif Ehlers Connor Monahan Toffoli Iafallo Lowry Apple Perfetti Gus Names.
  11. I still don't understand why a guy that elbows a guy in the head only.gets 2 ******* mins, but Scheifs gets 2 5 and 10 for instigating. Enjoy the wildcard. All 4 games.
  12. They were dominating at times, all 2nd and 3/4 the 3rd tonight. Stan and samberg were solid. Josh was dominant. Demelo was Demelo. Dillon struggles when pionk does. Sit pionk. go samberg Dillon Schmidt Stanley. Just do it
  13. This team is done. Nashville is going to pass them. 5 loses in a row with NO pushback. So sad as they looked dominant at times earlier in the season
  14. Honestly thought the jets were the better team. But in the end 0 for 50 on the PP. special teams cost us the win. Hopefully 55 is ok cuz we suck even worse without him. id sit pionk tho. Dudes not good.
  15. Bones should wear this loss... I'll take 10 Hnidys over Sawyer.........
  16. Shut the **** up Sawyer. Jets are free falling and playing like ****. This is such a ******* disgraceful slide. Swept by the Knights. Gonna be swept by the Stars or the Avs. First round exit
  17. Just awful. I hated Shane Hnidy too but man Sawyer is just not a good TV presence.
  18. After that game our cat got out and got under the deck, which is about a foot high. She got scared and hid far underneath. I had to army crawl under to get her. In the process I knelt in dogshit. Also tripped and smoked my head on the downspout. …It was still the better part of the evening.
  19. Watching the PP be say an Edmonton on Tuesday, the movement is so different. The Jets get into their set positions and try the pass, whereas whoever had the puck for the Oilers would be constantly in motion even if not passing the puck or driving the net. That constant motion makes it hard for the penalty kill to establish their box, or diamond, or whatever. So if the Jets’ passing is not fast and crisp, it’s so much easier for a defender to get into a lane, or force the long point shot by cutting off other passes. JMO.
  20. Man pp needs to click. They need to seize the momentum
  21. Good game so far tho. Was a nice VGK goal. Kevin Sawyer is unbearable tho. And Monahan ties it on an Ehlers shot. Questionable??? No call on jets seconds earlier.
  22. Stanley absolutely demolished Kolesar. Good period. A Jets goal would be nice .
