  1. Past hour
  2. Grey Cup week...lol....if being honest
  3. I’m not sure we can out tank the rangers Canucks flames and blues and I think we are better than Nashville and Chicago and a few others in the bottom 10. Helle ,Josh ,Career year Stan, scheif kfc gabe and a healthy Perfetti and seemingly throw back JT, yeah I dunno. They might make it. That’s a solid group there regardless of the rest.
  4. When does the free agency tampering period start?
  5. I dunno. I think they sneak in. Either they sneak in or they finish bottom 10 with a lotto pick at 1 2 3 overall. They are pretty much bottom 5 right now still so they got a ways to go. I just not sure I trust the teams ahead of them who weren’t supposed to be good to stay good after the break. The break will actually prob really help the older jets and might hurt the the younger teams currently playing perhaps above their expectations
  6. White I think offers us a lot, and expect a really good yr from him....He has big play ability and will garner attention so he makes Wilson's and Demski's job easier...Would I have preferred Mack...yeah but White was the next best consistent proven guy, who Condell will know how to use I agree with @Mike tho not the type guy we needed, that being said I fully expect the guy flying under the radar in Jahmal Banks to take over Wheatfalls spot and would be shocked he not on roster....Withe solid guys in Wilson..Demski and now White going to need attenion he can be nicely eased in and give that big downfield strike abilkity with ZC's certain contested balls, plus he can play the underneath game too
  7. Don’t hate the white signing. Obviously Condell knows how to maximize him so that’s cool. Bridges would be nice now that KJ signed back with the riders but maybe they feel they can find 1 new guy. DE? I think that’s gonna be scouting. DL? Honestly is there much available so that may have to be scouting also.
  8. Oshea’s biggest weakness is he can’t tell guys it’s time to move on. And I think that’s because as a former player he played until the wheels fell off so he feels these guys deserve to go out on their terms. I don’t like the Kyrie signing but Kyrie was pretty good last year and healthy. He’s a good vet. But yeah I’d like to see new blood also. His biggest coaching weakness is and always will be roster management and not using the rules to their advantage. O’Shea really believes in the C in Canadian football league.
  9. Cant argue with his production. Nice to see Walters actually go out and get someone proven. I'd love to see some DE and DT signings.
  10. Basically...and the yrs prior tothe Walters architecture of 2019-2022.....He had a foot out the door as well to be looking for work That and he views players with backward assessment/success and not forward thinking/looking....until it's way too late And yeah it's the CFL and all....But his Canadian bias too is a weak point and handcuffs our roster with at times not the best option when it doesnt have to be that way
  11. Who is available. I also think center is an important position also. Do we go after the Hamilton guy who had snapping issues cuz not sure Eli is it, is it the 2nd year guy? Neufeld even? A draft pick? Trade? Who knows.
  12. Today
  13. Yup probably the worst possible place to finish- just outside the playoffs.
  14. Which potential DL should we be hoping for?
  15. I like the White signing, a one year....personal 1000yard guy, he will show up with something to prove, I can only assume he will have a chip on his shoulder....true not a Bailey type at all.....I am also in the camp of Robestelli, maybe even one the Riders CDN receivers..... Still don't like the Kyrie signing...again not personnel, but IMO it was the right time to move on.... As I said before I think our O line will look good this year.., For me we need more overall depth at receivers, at least one more CDN receiver with some experience, and some help along the D line I still believe this has been one of Walters best pre FA's....
  16. And a meh (something like) 15th pick in the draft. A kid we may or may not see until 2030.
  17. And we need help on the interior of the DL to shore it up. With Jake Thomas hogging the playimg time for years, I really don't know what we have. I do know that the DL played better as a unit when Thomas wasn't on the field.
  18. Much better player than Nick Moore. Legit #2 receiver. Just not sure we have what we need for him or the offense to succeed. Like him and Wilson are potentially a bit redundant. Do we have anyone who is willing to block downfield? For run game, but also White/Wilson have a lot of utility in screen game. Demski is old as hell for pro football. Could be great, could fall off the cliff tomorrow. I hope we're still active in adding parts to the offense. Because we're lacking majorly at receiver and OL. Think we really have to be prepared to play at least 3 American OL. Wouldn't be the craziest thing to be active in the free agent market on American OL and we need another vet receiver, ideally more physical type who can go get the ball and work in scramble drill.
  19. I am happy to see the Bombers land a big free agent
  20. I very much have a "meh" Nick Moore type feeling to this signing. I mean it's okay, I guess. As Mike said, a very small, soon to be 32 year old receiver coming off a year of the dropsies doesn't really create that much excitement. Mack obviously would have been much more preferable
  21. To me MOS comes across as a live by the sword die by the sword type person that is probably one of his greatest strengths but also can be one of his greatest weaknesses depending on the scenarios that present themselves. I think he might have a hard time recognizing when to use this strength and when not to use it but hey i’m just a rando guy on the interwebz.
  22. I like the idea of Robustelli or Eberhardt as up and comers to add to the American group. Could be a big reward. Still think we could and should improve our Canadian receivers with Brissett.
  23. Not enough imo probably puts them 3-5 points out of playoff pic at the end of the season following the footsteps of the Flames last couple of years.
  24. Really interested to see how this plays out with Collaros. Condell obviously loves him from Hamilton. Targeted White 8 times a game on average when he was calling plays there. Schoen had fewer targets in 22 and 23. Bombers really lacking vertical threat in terms of guys with some catch radius who can give a QB the chance to not have to pinpoint the ball every single time.
  25. We HAVE to move on from Schoen. He's cooked.
  26. Tim White's kneel for the Rouge in the 2021 Grey Cup is the only reason we won it that year Guy has always been undercover for the Bombers
