Dakota does have a really good program. Back to back champs if I recall correctly. I know they draw kids from all over St Vital. Can't so I know they recruit but I hear rumours. Oak Park, I know pulled in kids from all over Pembina Trails back in the day.

So what's the deal with Oak Park... Do they just go out and recruit the best of the best? Like they look for already great football players and then pay them to go to school there or something...? Or is Dakota actually a factory with good coaching ...

So on the cool fact note from Our Man Tait, Brady and Nic are 35 and 4 yards way from hitting 1000 this year which would be the third year in a row both have done it. We are the only team to have a 1000 yard Canadian receiver and a 1000 yard Canadian rusher in the same season and we have the chance to do it three years in a row.

It's possible after this week, the West #1 and East #1 and #2 seeds are all locked in, which means the last two Bomber opponents might not have much to play for other than staying healthy. That and them both being home games bodes pretty well for a home playoff game if they can take care of business tomorrow.

The Craig Roh thing always seemed incredibly sad to me. It is my understanding that Colon cancer is pretty slow as far as cancers go, to go from being on a pro roster in 2021 to diagnosed with Stage IV cancer in 2022 is a pretty rough turn around. Colon cancer specifically is hard to screen for in younger people and not really on most peoples radar until 45+. I wonder if anything in a teams medical would possibly flag anything like that.

This isn't really about the merits of the team or any particular outcome, it's just running the numbers. There's 12 games left, so there's 531,441 (3^12) different scenarios that could happen. In slightly under half of those scenarios, the bombers host a playoff game.

It will be an interesting contrast of the two defensive philosophies -- us, who don't roster for pressure, and them, that do.
