Two years of LIMITED practice reps bouncing between 2nd & 3rd string with the knee injuries to Streveler the past 2 seasons. Wilson with a bit of game experience certainly didn't light it up when he did play. Artoepus one season of virtually no reps as the third & fourth stringer. The other 2 qbs have nver set foot on a CFL practice field let alone a game field. All of them behind Collaros could be cut & never missed. Yeah... okay. Great take said no one ever.- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread

So apparently former Bomber WR Chris Brazell has a son, Chris Brazell II, who is an NFL prospect.- Game 59 : @A Jet Song From The West Coast
Can a faithful loyal lifelong Jet fan wonder if it’s time to change out the GM of this team to help us get over that hump we seem to be challenged with for some time to actually win a Stanley Cup? Or is it we the fans are just lucky to have a team because small market teams, especially a small market Winnipeg team, are handcuffed so be quiet enjoy making the playoffs when it happens and winning a round or two is bonus and above expectations? Next year is our year is our mantra.- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
Fair comment. Seems like management wants to win now, so maybe they're looking in that direction.- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
I’m just yanking your chain. I agree with you.- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
Nobody left out there is really worth bringing in. Wilson at least has two years of practice reps and some starters reps... I'd just as soon go with him as "experience" over what's out there....- Around the NHL 2025-26
I wanted him as coach/GM. Maybe the fire went out.- Yesterday

It could be a lot of things. The system, coaching or just not fitting in. I'd still take my chances as a 1 year backup with the guy.- Game 59 : @A Jet Song From The West Coast
What an absolutely **** goal let in by Hellebuyck.- Game 59 : @A Jet Song From The West Coast
How can Stanley be having a great year but is a defensive liabilty??- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
MBT used to be decent. But the Als had no chance when Davis went down last season. Look at the Grey Cup - they had no one they trusted to replace him- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
That may be but can he help us win??? That's all that matters in the end. Like I said, I'll take a guy that's out there as long as he is a pro in the meeting rooms as well as the practice & playing field.- Game 59 : @A Jet Song From The West Coast
3 straight overtimes- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
we need one more arm for camp and walters said we would probably look at the retreads to fill that spot later on. We already have a bunch of raw guys with basically no snaps. Need some one who has game prepped at a qb1, started and play a bit. We need that for sake of running camp offence units smoothly, for the D to work against, some one to throw to wrs that has adjusted to the field already etc. Pretty simple. Normal amounts of crazy vs abnormal levels of crazy. Even by religious qb/football player standards, mbt is out there. He’s just shy of snake handlers and magic under wear.- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
I agree. His starting days may be over but he could be the perfect backup working with zach in the qb room. Helping younger guys develop. But man, it's sad when religious beliefs are mocked by some fans.- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
I do find it funny that people can make light of MBT talking to his ancestors yet a large amount of players are heavily religious talking and believing in different spiritual entities. MBT was really bad last season, that is what somewhat cools me off from wanting to bring him in. Prior to last season he was durable and at least gives his receivers a chance at making plays. Better then Strev that's for sure.- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
You'll be the first to complain if we lose a season because we threw a rookie to the wolves. I've seen teams do that & the backup is the most popular player in town with the fans until he plays & stinks,Then he isn't & gets pretty ugly. You want examples of teams that crapped out after their starter went down?? I can give you plenty. If you disagree, then let's talk. Come on, you can do better.- The TV Thread
Looking forward to watching Luke Grimes in Marshalls tonight on CBS. Halleujah! It's on linear tv CBS & not just on Paramount Plus for all 13 episodes. A spinoff of Yellowknife without Kevin Costner.- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
Translation: GET OFF MY LAWN! Love you.- Game 59 : @A Jet Song From The West Coast
Jets need to get rid of liability luke Schenn. Pretty obvious not playing with in a system. Dude just free styling pretending he’s better than he is. If you could get a bag of pucks or stick tape for him, the sooner the better. Same with Stanley. Having a great year but a huge defensive liability. Ppl talk about forwards but when your best D men are Samberg and rookie salomonster, yeah this is why we don’t always get team USA Helle but how many 2 on 1s can he stop. Jets testing that theory in the turd period.- 25/26 CFL (Non Bombers) Off Season Thread
Not having a veteran as a backup qb who can actually play if Collaros goes down for an extended period of time will be a massive organizational failure by Walters. Especially if we lose a potential championship season. This crap about MBT talking to his ancestors is just a bunch of fans farting out of their mouths instead of their ass. Who cares??? Do we spend any time with the guy? Is he friends with any of us? Does he swing from the trees like Tarzan? If he dressed in bearskins & carried a knife would it matter if he went out & played well enough for the Bombers to have a chance to win a Grey Cup??? None of us would care. The guy has a wife & family like everyone else. He wants to do well for his family. The guy is a pro & from what I've seen is laser focused on Game Day. Going with a bunch of rookies & inexperienced quarterbacks with little or no playing time like Wilson & Artoepus then letting training camp "shake things out" is ridiculous. What could possibly go wrong if we're unprepared to lose Collaros?- The TV Thread
