  3. Based on ??? I mean gonna be honest guys. Most the guys you push as the next great thing end up out the league in a year. What is any of this based on? Feelings I guess.
  4. went to the Crankshaft comic website and Riderfans have totally taken over the comments section, what a bunch of bozos.
  5. Yeah. If he comes up, I think you need to dress him immediately. That’s a sick 6th ol, at worst. Some one probably try to scoop him on the pr too.
  6. That’s on the D coordinator tho not O’Shea. Do you just blame O’Shea for everything and ignore the coordinators who definitely have a huge say in things and likely have a larger say in who is and isn’t playing than you think. Crazy theory. What if the problem is the coordinators aren’t very good? I mean younger gets a free ride but the D didn’t adjust the last 2 games at all. At what point is it not O’Shea and it’s the coordinator who is playing the obviously confusing to most scheme.
  7. Calgary basically changed their entire D and are the best in the league really. It’s not about communication it’s about talent. Ours has gotten old and at the same time. You're only as strong as your weakest link and we got a few links broken right now. O’Shea needs to be forced to make some moves and if not he should be fired because who plays is on him. We have had 2 byes and are 3 and 2 now and our D players look gassed. That’s on the talent and on the guy (guys) playing them. Talk about to much moving parts? Uhh really cuz our old guys lead the team in D reps. Someone has lost the plot whether that’s O’Shea or Younger, who I think might not be innocent here. It is his D scheme after all. Despite the narrative, it’s probably younger overplaying the old guys on game days. There’s this narrative O’Shea forces him to play these guys but I’m not sure that’s based on facts. The D sucking is on the coordinator also.
  8. Turns out you get them here and they love it. Getting them here is the issue. There’s a perception about Winnipeg that lots of us think is reasons but turns out hunting fishing and the outdoors is very popular with rich people and the younger guys who just want to play hockey and that’s it, well this is the ideal place for them. I personally don’t want players who can’t deal with the equivalent of 2 weeks really of very cold temperatures. The rest of the time is your typical northern winter. No different than Chicago Minnesota or Wisconsin. Edmonton on average is colder in the winter than we are recently (last 5 years)
  9. Our latest WST Bombers Report is out. We break down last week’s debacle and tee up Bombers at Argos. Also available on all your podcast apps. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3Gfq_8RTLN8&t=13s
  10. Yeah he in tough...not sure he will get PR'd elsewhere...or wait it out a bit...or just come up to get some playtime here He'd be a huge addition none the less...and could anchor a tackle spot for yrs ..well if we pay him after rookie deal
  11. We've had great success in signing players who have played here either through being drafted or traded for. Its free agency with guys who have never played here that we struggle.
  12. Not a FIFO guy. could be. Lions have 4 lts, he’s pencilled in no3 with an injury to decker who likely will be back in mid to late September. Could be any where from Ar to gone. Skipper likely starts, if jamarco jones backs him up manu is on the out side looking in.
  13. Nope...takes a while to play off each other and know each guys tendencies...when it's constant switching up..prob at times you react to who used to be there and they not...its nice to have depth and guys that can play multiple spots...but maybe when needed for injury...or the odd diff look...but you can still do that anyway with same personel
  14. Yes!!! that's a key I didn't think of....guys are thinking and not reacting it seems. That instinctive movement is not there and that millisecond to think is all it takes to be outta position or a step behind.....
  15. Yes......it's like I said, we seem to to be missing the communication aspect....the communication has seemed to be poor......I think this is also amplifying guys being slower. It's so frustrating because on defence we have been "mostly" healthy
  16. RB AJ Ouellette
  17. I don't know if he has the right attitude. Plus would he know the playbook? How would he adjust to the waggle?
  18. Maybe Manu ends up here later in yr
  19. I can't wait until the Vikings cut Justin Jefferson and we sign him
  20. Ellsbury has retired making room for McLeod. Which means we don’t have a developmental/back up imp ol any more. Vanterpool is pressed into action currently, but we should be looking for another with nfl cuts. But our pr is at its limit. So likely some clearing out to happen soon. 1 or maybe 2 easy cuts thats it. Though if zach is out chase could come up but we should bring in some one with experience.
  21. And a coach with no answer...he will say guys will look at film...see what they did wrong and correct it Fails to see or realize/think it may also be an ability issue...or teams onto what we doing...what worked 2 yrs ago...heck sometimes even 2 games ago doesn't work the following week
  22. Part our issues too i think is the constant rotating of guys...kills cohesive aspect never mind getting guys in a groove....and no wonder we seem to have a lot of communication lapses...even if guys know the position...its not the same with instinctive movement and reacting without thinking...my opinion big issue
  23. Yup...uphill battle...I think ZC needs to be on a short leash and Strev worked with and see if can develop...tailor the offence more to him... Done right he can I sure be more than serviceable...plus he is leas than 12 months post op....once he really back to form...maybe by late season...definitely next yr....you will see more of his old style and movement back People Can't fault the guy or be too critical of him now...hes just back from surgery...and gets tossed into game in an offence not geared to him...with sub par group of playmaker...U seen the potential first game and the offence kinda geared to him...quicker pace...ball out fast...and without BO as well...I bet if we were to have continued with that he would look even more polished...Can't write him off by any means currently....ZC tho...I dunno...he may be another good whallop when he gets back to out for yr...and it will obviously be in his head now...we already seen it when he got rattled against the Elks...jittery...panicking almost immediately..all the int's started...gonna get worse now...if he out a few games and we see progress in Strev..and tailor scheme...and personel more to him...and he getting wins...I'd roll with that until he shows its time not to in all honesty... Yes...him....payback was a biatch for that poor sap....we need more guys like that
  24. I ream em every day ,and im ways older than that Comics | ArcaMax Publishing.........this is where i read it.
