I think being the night before Stampede was intentional. Anything DURING Stampede (starts tomorrow), day or night, is gonna be a tough sell, like you say, b cause of everything else going on.

If they're looking to make the stampede bowl a thing they are probably better off playing it in the afternoon on a weekend. Not sure you're gonna outdraw all the other activities that happen in the evening during stampede.

I find it odd osh and walters are still unsigned...and Miller can be a hard ass and has no problems making those tough decisions...overall the organization top to bottom is in great shape. A coaching or G.M change won't upset the apple cart

It’ll be interesting to see how healthy Ehlers remains on his new team. I can’t remember a season where he didn’t spend at least a week or two or much more injured. Hard to believe he’s never scored 30 in a season either. We may look back on this day and say it wasn’t as terrible as we thought compared to how we may have felt had they signed him until he was 36 or 37.

Stamps need a new stadium and a winning team... And that would just be to break even. This just isn't a good CFL town. The LOLks don't need a stadium as much as they need a winning team again. Edmonton is more of a CFL town than Calgary for sure. They're ready to cheer for something...

They are 3 and O tho so not sure why the complaining. Hamilton with all their free agent signings just won their 1st game. historically bombers free agent signings at receiver don’t work either. Dressler was the last one as I don’t consider lawler really established when we originally signed him. There’s a list of guys we signed as free agents a mile long who ain’t in the league no more. Why do ppl want to overpay players so badly ?? Like in reality lots of those free agents ppl wanted, they weren’t ever signing here. ceresna? Wife family from the Edmonton area. Lawler? He’s not worth the $$$. Wheatfall has essentially replaced him. McMannis stayed in T dot. I mean. Not everyone wants to be in Winnipeg.
