I don't know if you are aware this is what is happening, but here's how literally everyone else sees these conversations going. Goalie (completely unprovoked): "BOOCH THIS BOOCH THAT Booch is so annoying" followed by a strange multi paragraph rant Booch (in response): "I mean, in response to what you said, I actually was kind of proven right on that particular point" Goalie (in response): "Lighten the **** up dude" It's game day of the season opener, it's been a long off-season, we all have our faults but for crying out loud, just grow up and enjoy today for what it is. The start of the Bomber season. Go Blue.

He’s Kyle Connor’s best friend. It plays a role here. They grew up playing together. There’s a fit. He very well could be the difference. So miss 1 year is better than never making it.

What excited me in pre season was that we were pressuring the QB. For the last two years it seemed like we had absolutely no push and no pressure on whoever we played. It will be nice to make a QB force a few throws every game.

I just want to see a win and a vast improvement on our anemic offense. Bryant's age does concern me and I really hope he gets pushed by Randolph. I am excited to see what Ceresna does to the D line... And I am stoked that there is no Jake Thomas on the roster.

With the changes on the O-line, I wonder how long it will take for them to gel as a unit. Elsbury has not impressed me, but what do I know? Truth be told, we do have an increasingly brittle quarterback and unproved backups. Should Collaros get dinged in the first game due to the changes on the O-line, we are in a world of hurt. It shouldn't be hard for Elsbury to be an upgrade, but the line will need time to get used to each other, and I hope it will not be at the expense of Collaros.

I'd like 2 of those 3 and a guy who can really dominate a game from the X spot to build an offense around. They will be missing that again. The ideal receiving corps for Collaros is a big sturdy X who can be a threat at 3 levels (Lawler, Adams), a big sturdy slot or Z (Fantuz, Wolitarsky), a couple sneaky route running playmaking slots (Schoen, Demski, Tasker, Wilson), a speed/YAC guy (Bailey) and another big body (Ellingson, Bakari Grant). I think we have 2/5 of those things and we're hopeful Nield can make it 3/5. And we need everyone to stay healthy.

I've had this OL concern all off-season... or at least since we signed Broxton... We had a top RT last year and then we signed a top LT... as much as I love the future HoFer/GOAT Big Stan... I have trouble believing a Bryant-Broxton bookend is better than a Broxton-Randolph combo... Also in a emergency... I'd have to guess we line up Vaval at receiver did you just steal this bit from @GCn20 ?

Yeah the healthy top 5 group of receivers you can absolutely work with... but what's after them? Yikes.

Odd...I said Griffin should be SAM (for over 2 yrs now)...Jenkins and Dixon should be on roster...Williams looked to be the best of the DB's and likely has that spot. hate to see that. Begelton is a massive receiver, one of my favorite non-bombers. Love those guys who can solo a passing attack no matter who's playing QB. I hope he gets better, but he's been banged up for almost a year now..

yeah, I liked his breakdown of Kiondre Smith's big catch where Lawler ran a clearout route that drew the entire Als secondary, and I like how he diagnosed the pick six as BLM taking too long to throw to the curl route. People who know about football -- if you're a receiver and you run a curl route and the ball doesn't hit you immediately, shouldn't you go find a soft spot in the D rather than standing flat-footed staring at the QB? I was taught that flat-footed receivers cause interceptions...
