yeah...great player and local ties and all....but for a RB where you can the same kind of work/production out on an American for a third of the cost....well thats when you have to make the smart decision and move assets amd sms elsewhere....You also need an adequate back-up thats Canadian when you are rigid with the ratio and refuse to adjust it due to injury....which we have shown we are, and pretty rare to have a Canadian rookie or entry level guy who can be no drop off, and if you have to have a vet guy...Like we did for yrs with JA...Well that aint cheap either.... We moved on from other guys with a high ask before.....and some were not even as obscene as to what BO may want

People who like to go south in the winter care. Besides - it's a sale price, to one specific location, not all sun destinations. We've got a trip booked in March and our flight prices are way higher than normal ($1400 to Cancun) - on the same dates I can fly round trip to Calgary for $213 so yeah it can be way cheaper to fly domestically.

Except he didn't start for another few seasons. He went to BC in FA where he backed up Danny Barrett and then Kent Austin. Austin got traded after the 1993 season and McManus finally got the reigns in 94.

Meh, if I'm not mistaken Condell and Zach both were Ti-Cats in 2014-15 where Cats were 9-9 and 10-8 with Collaros slinging the ball and Condell as OC.

Why would Corey Mace leave the Riders to go to that dumpster fire in Toronto? It's idiotic for them even to ask yet they did. What an embarrassing phone call that must have been for Pinball...."Please come back. Pleeeeze!!!" Mace would have to be crazy to leave what he has in Regina. The problem seems to be two or 3 fold. One, is being on the road virtually all season next year & just 6 home games. Then there's the lack of committment to make the team better by MLSE. Then having Pinball & Murphy there & having to answer to them. If MLSE was serious, they'd fire or reassign Pinball & Murphy. Let someone else come in & have total control of football operations. Murphy is a ****** & seems that a lot of CFL people don't like him which is why he isn't a CFL GM by now. Murphy had a fistfight with Hamilton fans a few years back & was indefinitely suspended. Then after Murphy returned to the Argos, he dismissed the sexual harrassment by Kelly. Murphy even blamed the woman involved for making it all public & "opening up a can of worms" for Kelly & the Argos. Pinball knew about the sxexual harrassment as well & did nothing. Both should have been fired. Pinball & Murphy's involvement in the day to day operations is really interfering in the hiring of a new GM/HC. To the point the Argos will hire someone so low on the totem pole that he will grind the Argos into the ground.
