you're missing the point... it's not just the fans that call it the labour day rematch... the Rider org and management refuse to call it the banjo bowl... this whole "banjo bowl preview" is a joke from fans, mostly at this site (I've never heard/seen it anywhere else)... in conclusion... one is just a fan thing... the other is a cry-baby organization who's feelings are hurt by the name of a football game... man eli has struggled in pass pro at G, vibert has upside but i think he’s a year two step up away from being a guy you’re comfy with. That said, it’d be funny if vibert is on the ar because then eli is the 3rd best centre at best on our ar lol

What's going thru the mind of a guy like Jake? Does he recognize how much he's dropped off? Does he sense he's more a hinderance than a help? Does he allow himself to doubt that assessment because the coaches continue to have faith in him? Expecting him to ask to be sat in favour of someone else is obviously not in the psyche of a professional athlete...but do you think he ever feels a measure of guilt or shame knowing someone else could do a better job for the team? Having never been a pro football player I can't put myself in his shoes.
