  1. Past hour
  2. Because linebackers aren’t a problem here probably. I mean Kramdi Shay smith jones woodbey Ayers Wilson. I mean there isn’t a spot.
  3. Today
  4. Because we signed Brady and therefore we have no money to ever sign anyone else as per a few people on here. Somehow BC is able to have guys like Rourke and also able to sign other quality free agents.
  5. Yup...experienced it first hand...and seen it happen too...The Arland Bruce and Troy Mills incident still is one that sticks in the ol memory bank quite vividly
  6. How come we can never make signings like this?
  7. For another year or two. He may play in the CFL but I doubt we'll see him in a Bomber uniform.
  8. If he sticks for 4-ish years, even without becoming a regular starter, he could make enough money to retire. IF he is fiscally wise. And if he doesn't have that burning desire to play football. Neither of which is a tremendous chance imo. If he doesn't become a starter down there, I think he will be up here. The only real move could be if he forces a trade, which I think has happened a time or two but it is rare. And as it is, he would be better served coming here if his NFL window closes. Marty is extremely prolific as an OL coach. Over the next couple years he'd have a much better path to playing here, coaching, and mentorship.
  9. Yeah that was a top notch one-off.
  10. The commentary was brutally honest
  11. 100% agree. I mean, the missing all of camp thing is really strange for a guy who was basically the insurance policy at OC, and was a HC not long ago. Must've been some really serious family stuff. Going from that to being away from home for the majority of the season is a lot to deal with. On top of that, we saw flashes of toxic narcissism from Hogan every time he opened his mouth, which was not even frequent or long in length. I shudder to think what he was like to work with. From what I saw, it firmly looked like the play call duty was taken from Hogan and given to Jackson very late. But we never had a proper install or repping to go with the playbook. Certainly, the strangest occurrence during the Mafia era. We took so long that half of our candidates took other jobs. It sure seemed like Jackson was going to be a 1a 1b with Hogan, before camp.
  12. but but he had this big ass trophy! We are still all in shock that they have fans other than bluto. half of us are wondering if we are about to see the cops with bluto in hand cuffs... Most people would be floored at how often big ass football players, boxers, fighters etc get accosted by randos who think they can take them. Like, really, really surprised how freuqently it happens. The intersections around the house of fandom all lead to crazy town.
  13. Yup...if his nfl chance fizzled...and more than likely will within 2 yrs...its play here...or don't play
  14. I think he may have been the choice but with that personal issues he had to deal with..they bumped OC Guy up in the interm...as just choosing him as unqualified as he was...seemed an odd choice...with maybe the gentlemen agreement that JJ would take over when he got here...and then we renaged on it kinda?? The whole thing seemed odd and we did interview experienced guys...and guys with solid coaching resumes...and then went with that maroon?? Like wtf
  15. I totally understand what you’re saying, but, that’s only true IMO if you are singularly looking at the last two Jets seasons. Cumulatively, the Chevy teams over the last 6-7 years (maybe longer) have looked a lot more like the current squad and have categorically underperformed. The only trend change has been the hiring of Bowness and a few seasons of operating a system that according to current metrics and record may no longer work with the talent the team is using. All I’m saying is it might be time to try someone/something else. I agree that’s probably not happening in a thousand years. I’m just throwing a few ideas out there 😄
  16. I don't know the why's, but as I said before something just seemed "off" with Jackson last year......
  17. I'm trying to be as optimistic about Condell as possible. I have some reservations, but at the same time, I expect the floor for our offence to be miles higher than it has been the last 2 years. If we can balance what has worked from the Lapo-Buck era and what Condell does well, we will be in a great position. I wonder if Jackson is back at QB coach, if he is not, I would love to bring in an ast on O that can help lock in what we have done well. A guy like Pete Costanza would be great.
  18. What blows me away is the amount of people who think that Paul did good and deserves respect and is a legit top boxer. Some analysts even had Paul winning the fight which is ludicrous. Clearly Joshua (just like the others) purposely coasted up until the end. I don't think the fight was fixed but I guarantee they had some sort of agreement to have it last more then 4 rounds. I was much more entertained by Andrei Arlovski getting jumped and then kicking the crap out of Jack Doherty and his loser streamer friends backstage.
  19. Fans are hilarious. One bad season will not result in a firing. The Buffalo GM just got fired after 5 losing years. The 2 GMs before him each had 3 years. Like it or not, Chevy is going nowhere unless he wants to leave. Anybody thinking otherwise is either naive, stupid or both.
  20. Yep..as i said take it with a grain of salt. It is overheard chat in physio room. I don't mind Condell at all. He's a good experienced OC. He is what we needed
  21. We own his rights. Not his choice.
  22. Last year covered up a whole mess of dysfunction junction in the Jets organization IMO. Somehow in 2024-25 they managed one of the better starts in NHL history (soon to be overtaken by Colorado) only to gradually fall back to who they were needing a miracle last second goal to not be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs again. I don’t think I’m the only one who saw how they ended last year’s playoff run and wondered just how good this team really was and what would this year really look like. A few player losses (Ehlers, Appleton?) later and Chevy resting on his laurels with one of the worst offseasons in club history and presto, here we are. I honestly believe we’ve seen enough of this current team and management. We need a fresh start hopefully with a GM who knows something about talent evaluation and drafting. Doubt it happens but that’s just my opinion 😢😕
  23. THE worst spot to finish the season is middle of the pack just out of making the playoffs. Yech.
  24. Back to fighting tomato cans for Paul I guess
  25. Vancouver will draft him or Calgary.
