  2. I am paying a lot more attention to this camp because of the lack of Jets playoff hockey and a perhaps misguided hope that this year will be better than last season with a new attitude and a new O coordinator, and a new center...and a massive upgraded Jake on our DL...anyway...getting very excited for this season. LFG!!

  4. We'll have to wait and see how they use him but his career up to this point would suggest he'll be the #4 receiver on this team and likely relied on as a possession guy who can get you that first down or touchdown when you need it.... type of guy who will have 3 catches for 45 yards at the end of the game but they'll all be for first downs.

  7. I see Warren Burrell is wearing #22. There was a (very good) DB - Don Burrell - who also wore #22 for Winnipeg 1981-83 or so.

  14. Just curious from those who pay attention. Between Tim White, Pokey Wilson, Demski we have 1, 2 and 3. Is Tommy Nield a 3a/3b to Demski at this point? Or is he clearly a 4/5 type of guy?
  15. I received 49 bucks from the Canadian Bread settlement today. I have auto-deposit for etransfers, so it went right into my account.

  17. Yeah....Dixon and Jenkins look to be front runners but nobody is really separating themselves from the pack. Bailey needs to be played, you can just see he has multi tool talent and a motor that just goes...he was 100 percent all day today...and thats par for the course. One interesting guy I noticed and like is that Michael Fletcher...think he a bit knicked with a thigh issue but powered thru it. Even at less than 100 percent he just moves and reacts real well for a big dude and could see him useful off the edge and inside...For me he was one the guys that first popped out for me and he has a interesting skill set and a long but sturdy body. I could see him opening eyes in the pre-season games What also popped out for me right away...and this isnt good...Save for White..Pokey..Demski..Neild..Clercius we have a real buttload of crap and WR currently. And if we are going to go 3 nationals...god help us...pray for ZC cause it will be ugly. Some of the first unit work today...With Demski and Pokey missing mind you had combos of Corcorran...Cobb...that Fredricksen (who has zero explosion and can barely get separation for a big guy and no speed) and I think the rookie Derosier??....puuuuke....Other than Cobb the other 3 are not pro receiver quality and do absolute nothing with the ball once they get it....Keshaun Smith, and TJ Harris look like once acclimated could be quite useful, and possibly singer...But the rest see ya later..if somebody doesnt step up...or if we break camp with some injury issues....we have worst unit in league easily....again And if being honest after Demski....Clercius and Neild the next best guy, and one who looks to have best upside is that Joshua Jack...Daniels cant be and shouldn't be expected to do much other than big packages and goaline area stuff where he just needs to chip block and seperate from the line and just win a jump ball or take a quick hot pass and head north Yeah...Griffin is or should be the SAM...Dude can ball...he's athletic enough to cover top receivers in man and he's built to punish in the run game...plus he is very assignment sound. Kramdi at safety and kind qb'ng from there if he as smart as they claim is the best use of him. Allen not sure if they see him as the corner...or the swiss army guy rotating in with 2 safety sets and dime work. Major Williams and Burrel stood out to me at DB...I think they are 1/2 right now for the vacant spot forgot to mention...That Mazzccua I can see PR'd...Dude is just a beast...and a thug...he would be a bone jarring mauler of a guard...I liked watching him A side of the oline with Eli..him and Broxton woukd be a RB's wet dream with paved roadwork all day long
  18. Must have been quite an impression on your new co-workers when you walked in like this on your first day!
  19. I started at the company I am currently with the day after the 2019 Grey Cup... it's been over 6 years and I have no idea where the time went.
  20. Tombstone Todd, the man, the myth, the legend.
  21. I wonder if we see the 2nd end opposite of WJ be filled by committee. From what I've seen Dixon and Jenkins have the inside track but aren't exactly lighting the world on fire. Nuer and KMB are going to be in need of reps, imo Bailey might actually be the next best guy right now. Dixon and Jenkins both also have the size and some ability to play a bit of 3 tech in a cheetah pack and 4i in the 30 front. If we end up with a DL of Wj, Lawson, Ceresna, Dixon or Jenkins, then Bailey, Nuer, Schmekel. We could end up not using a DI on the DL. It would be even better if some one like Hooper stepped up and was able to round out the back end of the roster.
  22. Idk how we can afford even 1, especially if its just a teams guy. We are now loaded with teams guys.
  23. Gee I hope there's no purge like last year It's the documentary channel Cord Cutters NewsAnother Cable TV Channel is Shutting Down & Launching a F...Canadian viewers will soon see a major change in how they access documentary content from the public broadcaster. 24. I really hope they don't use two DI spots on linebackers this year.
  25. Since we didn't make it to the Grey Cup game last year?
  26. I really like Allen. His ceiling is immense, and he was instantly a very useful player. That said, we are also instantly better if Griffin is at sam, and kramdi at S. Kramdis game fits better at S, and griffin is extremely good covering from the lber spot. Such a hard position to be in for JY. If the game slows down a little for Allen this year, he likely has the kind of year and launches his into the NFL and onto an AR as a back up. We did, but that was with like 6 DL and 3 imps, with no back up imp WR and with 1 less imp lber. Lber has become a trap spot on the roster for us. With last years NI lbers returning (Novak, Shay, Smith), plus Boulaine and clark drafted this year, we shouldn't be dressing a 3rd imp lber. But Ayers is a baller too. Id rather cut Ayers though, then lose Allen, Woodbey, or Griffin. Looks like he lost weight overall and added some lean mass. Daniels might not run well enough right now, or maybe they just want to limit his intake for now and let him adjust to a role he can fill right away then broaden him out later.
  27. Yeah watching some the one on one drills today u definitely see his power when he locked into his guy...guys a beast. And he is noticeably more agile Big Stan looked good..as Usual...hard to imagine he pushing 40...If he is even 80 percent of prime Stan him and Broxton gonna be a force
  28. And he knows Todd Krenbrink
  29. Another one to me would be cigars and Chlorine or as I call it "memories of the old Holiday Inn in Grand Forks"
  30. He needed to drop weight and it should show up on the field. I think he will take a huge step forward this season.
