  1. Past hour
  2. What a great last 10 minutes of the Stars Avs 7th game. Go Jets Go. I like your confidence dear sir.
  3. We are playing DAL in round 2. 4 straight for them in the 3rd to beat COL 4-2.
  4. Today

  6. I mean, I never wanted to like blm or see him in the cfl post career but he sure made me do it.
  7. A small win it was our best 10 minute start to the game of the series thus far. We dictated the game. Just have to keep it up for another 50 minutes. Another reminder the playoffs is a completely different breed, just have to make sure you make it, doesn’t matter by how much.
  8. It's odd... throughout the season at no point did anyone write we were lucky that we won a game by 4 goals... most games that had such a vast lead we were jubilant about how much we kicked butt and how great it was. Yet when it happens to us... bad luck / it doesn't count. I'd feel way more confident for game 7 and further on if our losses were by a single goal + empty netter or something where the score was close. Nobody can be confident when you get blasted three times in a row on the road and outscored 17 - 5. The delusional fans who think that this stat is misleading are in fantasy land. Very concerning and not the showing of a #1 team.
  9. I’d say 12 minutes span but agreed. lol. How are you alive bro. You be jumping off bridges every goal.
  10. Yet certain narcissists will argue otherwise.
  11. Yesterday
  12. Yup. People forget he was a db in the NFL for 4 years. He played special teams for ott. He had like 150 tackles in the NFL. Guy was a blood n guts gritty tough football player. And to meet him as a person, humble down to earth smart and classy. lol we can hate the player and love the guy. Just like blm.
  13. How I feel about the last game. But good vibes for tomorrow. Win or lose, we riot!
  14. There was a two minute span where things were ugly. Outside of that, it wasn't a bad game.
  15. The Jets had no chance to win, for a good portion of that game. Various semantics could be applied.
  16. Yeah..the fact they basically made a spot to retain him speaks volumes...it's pretty rare actually From all accounts his character and respect has followed him into coaching ranks.. he'd be a good get as a coach back in tge CFL
  17. Lakusiak wasn't a linebacker that 1970 season. He was a DB along with Corners Doug Strong & Paul Brule & Safety Ed Ulmer. At the other DB position, they had an assortment of players that year in & out like Dana Stevenson, Bob LaRose, Ward Smith & Tom Deacon. Even the late season addition of Rick Shaw to do the kicking & receiving as Spavital finally had enough of Lakusiak, he was a former all star DB with the Stamps. Shaw played a little bit in the secondary as well. They had more talent than we remember. The OL had Bill Frank, Larry Slagle, Chuck Liebrock & Chuck Harrison. They had All Star paul Desjardins at Center but traded him to the Argos for Bob Swift. On Defense, they had Joe Critchlow, Rob McLaren, Doug Strong, paul Brule, Gene Lakusiak. They'd bring in Grady Cavness to replace Ulmer. In a great off season in 1971, they replaced FB Bob Houmard with Ed Williams. HB Mack Herron replaced Amos van Pelt. QB Don Jonas replaced Wally Gabler & Benji Dial as well as Lakusiak as Kicker. They brought in Paul Markle in to replace Lou Andrus a TE. The new Flanker was Jim Thorpe & SE Bob LaRose replaced the wideouts they had. They went from 2-14 & the joke of the CFL in 1970 to 7-8-1 & were the highesst scoring teeam in the CFL in 1971 & a third place team in the West. But they had a core of young & talented players that hadn't matured or jelled in 1970. they jusy didn't have enough talent in 70 but did in 1971.
  18. A blowout is the other team controlling the play all game. That was not the case last night. Jets had a bad 10 minutes that cost them. The other 50 ******* minutes tho was pretty even. But sure. You are always correct. Forever and always. Johnny Augustine was a star bro and the jets got dominated last night. For sure.
  19. YOU CANT MAKE ME LIKE HIM!! #MOPGATE #NEVERFORGET
  20. Nah the fact he’s got this sub par fit from an excellent program deep with coaches speaks volumes to how high quality a person and coach he is. The chris jones type move would be sliding into a program that under achieved in a lesser or sub optimal spot so you can slither up into the hc spot with any on field turmoil. Kerry Joseph is a great guy, very very mos like in character attitude work ethic and leadership.
  21. I wasn't aware that when a score indicated 5 - 1 that this is a close game and not being blown out? That's a blow out. You can't pick assess a game purely on the parts that a team does well... you have to factor in the full game. Constantly on these boards people rag on Trevor Harris for putting up "garbage time stats" and that they don't count... how come when the Jets collapse and give up a tonne of goals that we can ignore that? The end result of this last game was that we got our ass kicked badly.
  22. Hopefully it’s just a first step towards clearing him. They won’t practice today, so having a skate and then evaluating how he feels seems like normal procedure. Fingers crossed.
  23. St. Louis has been very successful in creating havoc by getting bodies, pucks, sticks to the net which is a perfect formula against Helle. Take his sight lines away. Pretty simple yet effective hockey strategy. It’s also helps been given lots of latitude in how they get at our top players along with an odd soft puck luck goal allowed. I’m hoping it’s our turn game seven to score 3 or 4 in a fairly short period of time to put the game away. A nice lop sided score for the first time in this series for us to end it. Why not us?
  24. Did you watch the CFL tonight? Saturday Nights are all right for football? The CFL is back? CFL's still standing?
  25. You could make the case in St. Louis we are being out coached Also but in St. Louis we don’t get the last change so that’s part of it. Part of it also is having no scoring depth on the road, we get gabe back game 5 in Winnipeg only to lose mark game 5 but get Ehlers back game 6. Always something. Keep it close. Maybe those last line changes are making the difference cuz different series in St. Louis than Winnipeg. I think there’s a real possibility of whoever winning this series wins the cup.
  26. Not good news at all. Team can’t win in playoffs without him. 0 for career without 55 in playoffs. I’d strongly consider dressing the kid Yager if 55 can’t go.
