I think they brought Patterson in just in case Strev. is not ready to go for the start of the season, they both fulfill the same role as the short package QB. As Walters said in his presser, if available for TC Elgersma is there to observe and learn with zero expectations this season.

I know the Blues are paying special attention to JM but he doesn’t seem right. My guess he’s playing hurt. Mason Appleton is making it way too easy on the Blues.
