  2. Only one of the things I want in a QB. Being able to run and extend plays are also things that I look at in QB's.
  3. Id love to see two of white/wilson/demski run mesh concept. Off the waggle, force the sam/half/ or line backers to either trade off or chase and get cooked. Don’t execute perfectly and you get cooked.
  4. Nothing to explain. They used to do a better job of managing the DL

  7. Nyquist is on the 1st line. What a well deserved promotion!
  8. I think we got the best all around use guy..and one ZC likely meshes with the best We have 2 legit intruiging talents we need to actually develop and grow with their ups and downs.. Wilson is already about to I bet become a top 3 in the league...only do many balls to go around...the fact we have a real o.c this yr is prob the biggest get...a real one last yr could have got way more outta or offence but we got saddled with an Osh pick and a right dud
  9. As a player...he would have been gone off any other roster prob 3..4 yrs ago...at best end roster guy standing around all game in case the other DT's went out...would never had reps at end like here over actual ends either...his lifeline was Osh I'm sure hes a swell guy..but that doesn't constitute playing time.. and sure he worked hard and was a good teammate.. who here didnt or wasnt? Again...not a reason for a 4 yr free ride...the ire he got was justified as he basically sucked for yrs..and i guess osh is to blame partly for that as he enabled it We've seen a lot of Osh's picks too...player and coach...and some were pathetic and unjustified too...proof is in the puddin that Osh makes a lot of bad picks But like I said earlier...won't make or break us...just a dumb mercy hire really Who got the least amount of reps then..when he was actually somewhat adequate for spelling guys off? That why was solid...yrs later and half the adequate player he was...he got lions share...plus reps at end over actual ends...do explain the science of that
  10. It appears the Jets are playing well but they've got no rules to show for it. The inconsistency continues.
  11. 3 or 4 days ago there were 3 top WRs about to hit the market... all three are now signed and we landed one of them... some people are going to complain we didn't get the best one... but I think the reality is the other two probably weren't realistically coming here... I am happy we went out and got a legit talent. Ford the QB is a natural replacement for Demski the slotback?... I might agree if Ford gave any indication he was willing/interesting in switching positions...
  12. I have a hard time seeing that as earned tho either..and is a kick to the corn flakes to actual coaches working and putting in the time at varying levels And I not a grumpy senior lol...but coach..train and see what coaches do...could care less how a middling dt acted during his career...irrelevant... I do have a mean streak tho 😁 Nah...he can still play at top level...its durability and stagnating depth behind him Its Kramdi who def isnt best option for SAM...is not needed for ratio and is gonna be our second highest paid defender likely
  13. Perfectly serviceable last year? I’m sorry, that’s way over the top if you’re referring to JT’s play last year. He wasn’t asked to do much other than you know his job. You know it’s okay to admit it had nothing to do with asking him to do too much and he was not perfectly serviceable last year (please see stats) without being accused of being mean to him.
  14. QBs hardly ever threw to Randle's side of the field #randleisland Westerman brought heat and was a great leader Legette was a literal swiss army knife
  15. In such the small league we enjoy with a small stable of Qb’s, every team, excluding Edmonton right now, is a potential landing spot for him.
  16. FWIW, this analysis has us as a possible destination for Ford. Not sure I entirely agree with that but we do need a backup with legitimate experience. I wouldn't be opposed to it if we could make it work financially - like a bonus heavy contract that would only payout if Zach gets hurt or something. https://www.cfl.ca/2026/01/30/3-potential-landing-spots-for-tre-ford
  17. Westerman, Randle, and Legette. Three guys that transformed our D.
  18. Westerman was huge for us. He doesn’t get enough credit for his role in turning the club around.
  19. Thinking back to the DL when they had Westerman, a younger Jeffcoat, Corney, Nevis, JT rotating, etc. That was a solid group
  20. Ford would be too expensive to bring in....As far as a starting qb ...that's very debatable....He can be very elusive as a runner BUT lacks the big accuracy in his passing game ...I want a qb that can do both....Crum started out slowly but now has proved he can do both....pass and run...I'd still give the edge to Crum if we had the shot at him and he certainly wouldn't be that expensive compared to Ford...We'll see what fa brings shortly
  21. Everyone should be given the chance to prove him/her self in any given field...I don't care about 'stigma's or labels attached to individuals...The most important thing to me is 'will/can they be able to actually perform well at the position...The proof will be all out there for Jake when the season commences....jury is out on him...like it is for every individual....Good luck to him in his new job with the team...I along with most Bomber fans will be watching intently....
  22. It was only ever about usage... He was a perfectly serviceable player, but being asked to do way too much in recent years.

  25. I mostly agree. usage kicked off his down fall, and that stigma shouldn’t follow him as a coach, but it will for a bit, I don’t think it’ll be long.
