  1. Past hour
  2. I was wondering what Mace said to O'Shea at the end of the game - "what more did you want us to do to let you win this game? Have our guys run the ball into our own endzone and let your guys fall on it?" What an embarrassment, that these guys could barely beat the Riders "C" team.
  3. You're hilarious. You honestly think game action and training camp are the same? Either you're naive or you've just discovered the game of football. Thanks for the laugh, I appreciate it.
  4. 17 20 19 13 19 17 20 16 We have 8 games this year where the offense has scored 20 or less. That is just sad and pathetic.
  5. That was the outlier, the one game that doesn't belong, the one game that isn't the same as the others.
  6. Not too stick up for Zach but I saw a reply of the interception. There’s only two receivers running routes, like yeah Zach needs to eat it but he’s not getting any favours by the play design or the offensive coordinator.
  7. Today
  8. Luckily Hamilton signed all our useless DL. Not much pass rush to worry about. OL is struggling bad. Also just played 2 rain games in a row which isn't great for passing. Really need to save Collaros from himself on forcing the ball vertical.
  9. His name is Gluey Corcs now
  10. Okay I'll meet you half way. Sit ZC, play CS a half and TW a half.
  11. For what? Collaros is the #1 and Streveler is the #2. They will be the guys to play in the playoffs they should get the snaps. Determine if Wilson can play in training camp next season.
  12. Glue guy? I joke.:)
  13. So Cobb has 4 for 44 last night. Corcoran is at 10 for 88 in 17 games. Why had Cobb only had two reps on offense all year prior to last night but Joey is on the roster each week?
  14. My vote is for Weird Al Yankovich. Or Inuit throat singers. Maybe the death aria from Madama Butterfly.
  15. It's not just the increasing liklihood of athletes getting injured as they age, but recovery times lengthen as well.
  16. Yup, I'm completely with you on this. If the motto is make sure certain starters are not hurt before the playoffs, play him. It's the perfect time to see what he's got, not only for the playoffs in case he's forced into play, but for the future. Like a mini try-out. But I also read from some around here that they believe he doesn't have the necessary tools to play as a starter in this league. Let's say that's true and the BB's also think that way then to me that's even more frustrating and suggests that someone in the coaching/management/scouting department needs to step up their game.
  17. How many times has he been injured/missed games this season? Odds are he'll get hurt again.
  18. If a poor offensive coordinator or any other coach is allowed to continue without correction or removal, that has to undermine confidence in the head coach if not the whole organization. Moreover, if underperforming players are not replaced or corrected, I believe that creates dissent in the locker room as well as trust in the coaches and management. A recipe for what we have been seeing for the past three years: a team in a death spiral. Collaros WAS injured, dammit.
  19. To see if he can play. What's the purpose of playing Zach or Chris? So Collaros can get injured or Streveler can complete less than 3 passes?
  20. Well technically DT stats or lack of can be misleading in a good front...dependant on job/role and how it impacts what you doing. Ideally you don't wanna be hiding anyone but on defence you can have your i guess worst starter at safety especially in a traditional role...so technically know your players and scheme accordingly...as opposed to other way around...we fail Badly here at that Offence an undersized or less than optimal center can be easily adjusted for with again the right scheme...protections...like slide protections...shifting launch...multiple run looks...but you also need to have an athletic center too...we fail in system(coaching) here at that as well..but Eli tho not undersized is Uber athletic and as center but used like an undersized guy would be lights out But we have a brain dead HC who can t grasp that...or change
  21. Yup you're right I should have qualified it by saying barring injury that forces the player out of course.
  22. Well precedence is set that even injury isn't enough to pull players. Well played sir. Well played.
  23. Controlling for our existing talent that fills our starting positions (i.e., not talking about any player), what position on O, on D and and on ST's can have the least minimal impact to its lack of consistent productivity? In other words, what positions can we hide our worst players on all three phases of the game? The answers probably are influenced by the Head Coach, OC, DC and ST Coach approaches right? Oh I have a few assumptions but I actually don't know the answer cuz that's past my pay grade when it comes to the X's and O's of football.
  24. It's just ... Where the **** did the Hamilton game of a few weeks ago come from? How can we re-create that for like 2 or 3 games??
  25. The way Zack was being hammered and not pulled was just supremo bull$hit...IF our intention was to go further into the post season we sure as hell didn't show it...We could be an easy out and the other clubs can smell it.... Can we pull a jeckyl and hide routine????IF the plan was to go into that game last night and not give anything away ...welllll we sure was successful....In fact we disguised that effort against the riders so well we were working it into missing the playoffs...
  26. Lol...yeah any stats he gets are rather irrelevant anyway...
  27. Y'know, I just typed out a whole thing about how I listened to the CJOB post game and at no point did Zach or Brady say anything bad about coaching.... ....and then I stopped and thought about it. And y'know what...? Maybe they did actually. In the moment it sounded to me like they were taking personal responsibility for the offense being ****.... But actually what they were saying was "the offense was terrible. The D and ST were great and we have to be better on offense" Now, Zach did call himself out personally... Said that he needed to be better and that he thought his own play was bad. But... Now that I think about it, it is possible they were throwing the offense, as a whole, under the bus....
