Feel like this means a qb cut is happening. I like the arm talent. Very easy fluid smooth arm motion. Fast release that he can speed up/shorten if needed. Despite all that he has all the arm strength you could need. Not a laser cannon but really good. Great considering his release and motion. Sneaky quick and a really smart runner. Doesn’t take stupid hits, runs smart angles, keeps his eyes down field, and can break bigger runs.

5 reps would be 5 more than they'd ever see in an actual game (ZC excluded) so they might be happy with that!

If you dont have binafude starter, yes. But on our situation 4 would be optimal 7 is a waste of time and spot. I will keep 4 QBs. The top 3 and Elergesma. Dojegala or Paterdon. In that order.

The more qbs in camp the better. That way we have guys we can call upon later in the season if injuries strike.

It's actually interesting to me he was still picked that high. Because now he's out of football for a year before he gets to come in to the CFL camp. He's not going to have any opportunity aside from training himself to develop as a football player. Have to kind of hope he keeps his head in.

Almost every FBS/FCS football player is taking offers every time the portal opens. Every FBS QB is getting over six figures. This is a story about Mark Gronowski who is on Bombers neg list and has been South Dakota State starter for 4 years. Could have went pro this year, stayed in NCAA and went to Iowa for a "seven-figure" guarantee. This guy is not really a NFL prospect as a passer. I would think Elergesma would not be in the Bombers TC early, probably at late stages if he becomes available. Streveller and Wilson will be safe. I think it would be either Dolegala and Patterson will be taking the axe, if not both.

I hope you're wrong about Streveler, but it does seem that one of the major camp battles is clearly going to be at the QB position.

Agreed, But Jake got older and even slower and then we had a rotating number of d-linemen which was never really settled.

I just can't wrap my head around a CIS QB actually becoming a good Pro QB. I still haven't bought any Nathan Rourke stock, and he's not even a CIS guy. Until I see otherwise, it really feels like a wasted pick... Or at least a wildly unnecessary reach.
