I think he has a chance to.  But if the Jets go with Trouba as LHD so the top four are Trouba-Buff and Engstrom-Myers then Morrissey has to unseat Stu for the 3LHD spot.  And Morrissey can be sent down.  Stu can't.

Not sure Stuart would clear waivers... which might be a good thing.

He will be wanting 6 million over 6 years and there's no way the Jets give him that and there's no way he is worth it either

Perrault is more of a LW/Centre. I wonder if there is thought to him as 3C and Lowry moving down to 4th line winger. 

Ehlers orefers RW which might fit if jets don't being in any more right wingers. If they sign Okposo there surely must be other deals because of glut of mid-bottom six. Might package something for a LHD in that scenario 

Perreault can play wherever they put him, he's played right wing, left wing, Center and i highly doubt that Maurice moves his best friend and lover Lowry to the 4th line. 

 

People can talk about Mike O'shea and his love of certain players, well... Maurice has a man  crush on Lowry BIG TIME.

Perreault mentioned that he was told he would be playing LW this upcoming season...I'd like to see him center Ehlers and Armia.

 

on a sidenote, Maurice said it would be hard to not put the ESW line together again but at some time, Ehlers will go back to RW and Scheif will be playing with Laine. I'd love to see Connor Scheif and Laine on a line lighting it up for the next decade.

Connor definitely starts on the third line. I don't think there is any doubt.  

Connor should be ready for the 2nd line but I don't know if there is room for him in the top 6.
