What does everyone think he is worth and which team is the best trading partner?

Most people think a 1st and a good prospect.

I'd sooner have prospects than picks.

Nobody with a high pick is trading it.

Who else wore the A when Stuart went down?

Nobody will wear a C until next year 

who wore the A last game?

Wheeler and ?

so we're basically going to be captain-less?

At least it is done and we can get on with catching Edmonton.

Well someone has to hate the trade and that's me. I'm usually wrong about these things tho.

Best teams in hockey always get the best UFA's at the deadline it seems.

So I was not the only one who liked Harrison!

This deal is not perfect (although I'm intrigued by Dano) but infinitely better than the 0 we would get if we hadn't made it and let Ladd walk in July ...

He's a decent depth D man. Helped us out when we were screwed last year. It's a good throw in for the jets to rid themselves of two additional contracts. And Hawks get depth in case of dire scenario I guess

it's supposed to be a rental deal, which means there is a very faint possibility that we could get ladd back. (he's in Chicago til the playoffs are over) still I don't see that working out really

Conditional could be if they win cup, if he's conn smythe, if he signs. Chevy has to clear that up.

Beyak said 3rd round pick in 2018 if they win cup which they will.

so if the BH's win the cup we get Ladd back? or is it the other way around with the Conn Smythe?

6x6 not so crazy from a team that signed 2 players to crazy high contracts.

ofcourse jets will win. 

Hawks also hbe the 2nd round pick tied up as a condition of a trade with Philly. So they may not have a pick in the first two rounds this year 

Ladd ain't coming back. Deal with it. There will be more trades also. Guaranteed. Chevy ain't done. Ladd is not worth 6 million a year to this team. Jets might struggle short term but long term they are better off.

Ladd will get grossly overpaid this summer.

Yup. And in 3 or 4 years some team will regret it
