Election 2015

I did not link any such group and I do not "parrot" any lies. Those are all your words.

Then apologize

As if. I never posted any link to that group.

Of course you won't apologize.  The NDP never does.  And this is why you guys lose election after election, your arrogance nails you every single time.

Just leave me out of your petty little rants and carry on in your own little world. Leave me out of it.

Here's why the NDP just can't gain control of the public purse, or public policy.  There are just too many loons like this guy in the NDP, who want Canada turned into Venezuela north...

At 10:00 am this morning on News Talk 770 Calgary the Chair of the NDP socialist caucus Barry Weisleder openly stated that his party are advocating for the government to take over the oilsands. When pressed on how they would compensate for the capital outlay it would require to pay the rightful owners of the production leases he stated that they would assess fees for the "damage" they have done and that would offset the cost.

In other words they would seize them.

If you're interested go to the Newstalk 770 archive page at this link and listen to 10:00 am August 31

http://www.newstalk770.com/audio-on-demand-2/

This guy actually wants to seize the oil sands, and uses the flimsiest of excuses to justify the theft.  These are companies that have invested billions of dollars, and he sees no issue with just destroying them, seizing their property, and laying off thousands of people.  He can't see the massive damage this would do to the entire economy.  He is reflective of so many other NDP zealots I have met over the years - so blinded by idiotic ideology that he just doesn't care about the damage he wants to wreak.  The NDP is just plain awful.

Not Much chatter here about the disgisting politicizing of a child's death by the NDP, Liberals and CBC

For anyone who says the CBC isn't 100% anti Harper, there can no longer be any doubt. Have they apologized yet? Has Trudeau? How about the NDP MP who claimed he hand delivered a refugee request for this boy's family to the Minister? Has he apologized?

It's not even about them all "getting it wrong". It's how quick they embraced the opportunity to frame Harper as a "baby killer"

Dispicable.

Because all the stuff on Twitter and Facebook about Canada's peacekeeping reputation spiralling under Harper, I took a few minutes to check the UN archives.  I'm not Harper supporter, but I detest false and misleading information:

United Nations Peacekeeping Forces by Countries (Canada)

http://www.un.org/…/r…/statistics/contributors_archive.shtml

Canada - Nov. 30, 1990: 1002

Top country: Canada

Canada - Dec. 31, 1995: 1163

Top country: United States

Canada - Dec. 31, 2000: 568

Top country: Bangladesh

Canada - Dec. 31, 2005: 387

Top Country: Bangladesh

Canada - Dec. 31, 2010: 198

Top Country: Bangladesh

Canada - Dec. 31, 2014: 113

Top Country: Bangladesh

The truth is the North American numbers have been dropping since the mid 90's. Countries like Bangladesh and India have been picking up the slack.

The more I read about this the more it makes my blood boil. This Fin Donnelly character deliberately lied on national TV and the CBC ate it up.  There was zero political integrity displayed by the NDP (no surprise there) and zero journalistic integrity showed by the CBC (no surprise there either).  This NDP-CBC partnership in stupidity and lies has to end.  Enough is enough. "Harper cut $36 billion from health care". "Harper killed those Syrian boys". I just don't get why the NDP can't help but step on their dicks constantly. Do they honestly think they won't get caught in their lies? Do they not understand how stupid they look when they are caught. I just hope finally, Canadians realize just how awful the NDP are, and give them a big pass at the ballot box.

It's not just politics or awwww shucks too bad. It's absolutely embarrassing dispicable disgusting behaviour. It's the type of sickening BS that SHOULD cause public approval to turn against the shameful opposition. It's beyond anything else. It should be the defining moment of this election

But the media doesn't care. They are puppets. I hope Harper wins and folds the CBC

All of the above may be true, but Harper lumping immigrants and refugees together and using that to say we have the most generous system in the world per capita, is deceptive and insulting to informed voters

I'm not a fan of this event being used by the opposition and the timing for their concern is suspect but the amount of refugees we've taken in under this government is disgusting.

The timing is suspect? Never before have so many been so happy at the photo of a dead child. Should have been the turning point on the election against the opposition. Aren't we still waiting for the apology? Zero class.

You seem pretty appauled at them using it as a photo op and I can identify with that as I'm not impressed that this was the catalyst.

I feel that the real tragedy and issue more deserving of an apology is how little of these people our government has chosen to help since the Arab spring 5 years ago.

http://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/election/nanos-nightly-tracking-no-breakaway-movement-for-any-major-party-1.2556176

The three major parties remain in a statistical tie in overnight polling by Nanos Research for CTV and The Globe and Mail, with no party breaking away from the pack.

The latest numbers for the three leading parties:

  • Liberals: 32.1 %
  • NDP: 30.6 %
  • Conservatives: 28.6 %

Second Choice:

• There continues to be a high level of potential crossover between the Liberals and the NDP.

• Fifty-seven per cent of Liberals identify the NDP as their second choice (13 per cent of Liberals said they had no second choice), while 50 per cent of NDP supporters said their second choice was the Liberal (15 per cent of NDP supporters said they had no second choice).

• Twenty-eight per cent of Conservatives said the Liberals were their second choice, followed by 18 per cent who said the NDP were their second choice (45 per cent of Conservatives said they had no second choice).

I find the second choice polling pretty useless all in all. Lots of people might say they have a second choice but when push comes to shove won't vote for someone else. That's why you see the NDP and Conservatives dropping and the Liberals rising. The Conservatives won last time by taking a bunch of Liberal seats in Ontario, now it appears that the Liberals are getting Ontario back. Without Quebec it doesn't appear that the NDP have as much nationwide support as it initially did.
