Be cheering on the Lightning. They only got 1 cup.

I wanted them to win and to win the cup. That way we could say we lost to the eventual champs. Feels better. Just like the 80's!

  • 2 Cups, 1 Conn Smythe, 2 Oly Golds, 1 Oly MVP, Multiple All-Star nods........only thing missing is the long overdue Hart Trophy....

Well the series is now tied, and after Ben Bishop got hurt, is he done?

in other news Team Canada won their game against China in the Fifa womens world cup, and for the first time in 37 years the triple crown has been won.

My cousin actually put in a joke about free Leafs tickets after team Canada won

First the triple crown and then the Bombers. A lot of win-less streaks are going to end this year.

Hawks take it in game one

I heard about the Bolt's arena's policy, and it's kind of dumb not accepting out of state credit cards, considering that playoffs are one of the big things that put more butts in seats?

I have no problem with them giving Florida residents dibs. If the jets were in the final Id be happy to give locals dibs without having to fight to buy tickets with out of towners

I love your attitude

Yes but TB isn't exactly a daily seat filler, I can see where they are coming from, but why does it feel like they treat Bolts games the same way Winnipeg kind of treats Goldeyes games (as a cheap sporting event, yeah I'm not exactly afraid to say that)

Tampa has fantastic fan support. The atmosphere is incredible. It is nothing like the Florida Panthers situation. Tampa was 9th in the league in average attendance this season with well over 18000 per game.

yeah but I was told that the jets were actually way lower than TB (but I told Frosty that there should be an asterisk next to that standing considering that the MTS center only seats 15,004 and starting this season a little more

Russell MB, isn't it?

edit, see this is answered

yes you can hear the fans over the tv broadcast, sounds much like the jets fans.

okay fine, I'll take TB off my mental watch for relocation list. Apparently one stanley cup win is enough to get people in those seats

My parents went to a lightning game.. For 75$ they got free parking two decent seats and two meals at the game. Place was full of snow birds

Bolt have taken game 3 and now are leading 2-1 in the series

well it looks like the series will be tied again, seems as thought the BH's have taken game 4

BH's are victorious, one more win for them and the 2014-2015 season will be in the books

*Plays the WB That's All Folks Music* and the 2014-2015 season is in the books, congrats Chicago BH's for winning your 3rd cup in 6 years

now to wait for the NBA season to finish (I wonder if the Warriors win game 6 tsn will show the other Bomber pre-season game)

great job winning the cup at home guys

Next season, some other team will win the cup that isn't the BH's or the Kings.

Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks.  3 cups in 6 years. As close as you get to a dynasty in this day and age.

Pretty incredible run. In a league where a team is hard pressed to find one superstar, the Blackhawks have managed to gather at least 3 legitimately top tier players. They built the team around the right guys.

Gotta love that Oduya trade.

Chicago...well done.
And Cheveldayoff was there when it started..

where would you rank toews as far as best hockey player to come out of MB? I know theres still lotsa love for guys like sawchuk but 3 cups at his age and as captain of same team + other accolades is hard to match

I do not like to compare generations so just say he's one of the best this era.

Toews is the best for sure. Can't compare eras but it's Toews now for sure. Theo Fleury a close second

Fleury?

Bobby Clarke. Three MVPs, 1,200+ points

Ed Belfour?

Stanley Cup, Calder Trophy, 6 time all star, 2 time Vezina, 4 time William M Jennings Trophy...

eddie B was my fav as a kid,  even with the Jets 1.0 here I owned more blackhawks gear then jets in the 90's
