Ameet Pall

Released by the Alouettes today. Drafted fifth overall by Calgary in 2012 but hasn't been able to get his career going. I know he hasn't done much since coming into the league but maybe someone to bring in for a test drive considering his passport? It couldn't hurt in my opinion.

Pall has been added to our PR along with Shea Pierre.

It think it's spelled "Chez Pierre" and it's a restaurant on Provencher that will be the new provider of the locker room buffet....

**EDIT: I can't believe someone beat me to the Chez Pierre joke!**

if we were going to bring in anything from Montreal, it shoulda been Chez Paris.......ol' Wes Lysack said it was a fine, upstanding establishment...

Chez Pierre? What a name.  Found his website: http://www.chezpierres.com/

Hey , you SOB's stole my "Chez" joke from the other thread.  Come up with your own material, LOL.

Ha. To be fair, it's the easiest joke probably since Tom Canada was signed.

This is actually an old OB.com reference circa 2004...ish.

Quite a pall hanging over this entire thread.....

Chez Pierre, a-Meet Paul.

Iso is probably having an anuerysm right now. I'd  be surprised to see him post in the next few days :P

I don't think Pall is a very good football player but I won't make fun of him... Three stops in the CFL for a guy who can't play over three seasons. Pretty good gig if you ask me.

Went to Shoppers & bought some Anacin. I'll make it.

Wow, freep suggesting that he could play this weekend...  joke is officially not funny anymore.  Scary.

Ameet Pall

School: Wofford

Position: OLB

Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors since his junior season. Senior totals included 32 tackles/8 tackles for loss/3 sacks and after he had 60/22.5/12.5 the prior year. Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 when he was named to several All-American teams.

Positive: Hardworking yet undersized college defensive end who gets the most from his ability. Quick off the snap, fast off the edge and displays the ability to immediately alter his angle of attack. Plays with good pad level, keeps his feet moving and quickly regains his balance off the initial block. Displays an array of moves protecting himself, slices to the inside of blocks and consistently gets behind the line of scrimmage to make plays. Shows ability in pursuit and is fluid moving in every direction of the field.

Negative: Small and easily handled at the point of attack. Rarely used in coverage or asked to make plays in space.

Analysis: Pall is a hardworking defender who plays with a nonstop motor. He has size limitations yet could be used as a pass rush specialist at the next level in a three-point stance or standing up over tackle.
