Some huge names on that list.  Going to be interesting to see who gets protected, who goes to FA etc.  I think if O'shea becomes our HC you may see some of this TO FA's come our way.  Wouldn't mind seeing inman here!

Anyone out of WPG's FA OL crop that is a "must have" to be brought back?

 

Or are there names on that list that posters really want us to go after?

We should let it be known to him, through the grapevine that we'll give him QB money to come to Winnipeg. OL and QB are the only positions I support overpaying for. They're that important.

As you know 17, he  has serious concussion issues right now. his career may be in jeopardy.... I'm thinking he'll either stay in Calgary or go back home to Edmonton where he  is from if he plays again. There's some very good OL on that list like Josh Bourke. That list is amazing the talent that is on it. Even if we snag four or five FA's we're a better team.

Honestly, Simpson is easily replaceable. I'd let him walk.

id definitely offer Simpson essentially the same contract as now... maaaaaaybe a little more for loyalty sake but hes barely had a handful of decent games with what, 1-2 reaaaally good ones? he capable, hes shown that but is he healed? can it be fixed, whatever ongoing issues plague him? when healthy, hes as good as anyone else in the cfl imo... its just him staying at 100% that has to be a concern..

but then again, if we manage to get both ford and him again and go to Ford quicker if he doesnt maintain.. not a bad option.. RBs are a dime a dozen tho and neither are exceptional blockers, Ford being the better of the two..

Im assuming he does. But I'm fairly out of touch when it comes to CFL news and rumors now a days.. so take that with a grain of salt.

I'd like to see the Bombers go after Joe Burnett, even though I can't see Edm letting him walk. Pat Watkins is an interesting name on that list. I'm a big fan of tall DBs, and the Wpg secondary definitely needs a couple new faces.
