3 turds. Was out of town so just watched fully (skipped parts) today.  I watched periodically on Saturday but boating fishing and kids and fires  more important. Anyways.

1. Hogan - play calling. I don’t know the actual call, none of us do but hogan makes me yearn for last years Buck Pierce. It’s the same playbook pretty sure. It’s like hogan took the worst of Buck last year and said yup, this will do. Brady vouched for this ******. Wonder if he feels the same now. D bag. Sunglasses in every interview just screams D bag. Time to throw him under the bus.

2. I’m gonna put Kola here. Now I don’t think it’s just him, Bryant looks old, Neufeld ain’t it anymore either. Wallace and Randolph are solid I think but they are working with very little. Starts with the center tho on the OL. Ours is awful. He literally blocks nobody. Ever. I’m not an ELi guy but Jesus Christ, maybe it’s time. Then If he sucks you know you need a center.

3. I’m gonna do this one cuz I can’t just chose one. I mean Kelly was bad. Jake isn’t good. I mean. A few guys took turns on D but if it’s more than one, then I’m going Jordan Younger for sending out the Thomas schmekel package way 2 much. And the last drive by Calgary, it’s like we gonna give you the FG but not the TD but a FG wins it anyways.

as for who looked ok, Demski Clercius sterns and even collaros in the first half ( I can’t put the shitty play calls on him) and if I’m being fair I can’t put the shitty play calls last week on Streveler either. I can put not converting 3rd down and 1s on him tho.  Dillon Mitchell didn’t stand out but he also was targeted 3 times and made 3 catches so. Weird how I think 4 receivers were solid when play calling is a biggest problem on O. It’s not Zach, it’s not Strev, it’s not kola or the receivers, the receivers were solid. They didn’t drop balls. Zach had a high completion percentage. The O play calling is awful. Zach looks frustrated. So does Brady. The OC is the biggest problem by far.  Zach was getting the ball out quicker but took a few shots I suppose cuz oline is problem 2.  I mean Sergio hit a 63 yarder when we could have ran the clock out or even ran it down so he’s kicking the winner from 23 instead of 63. Just brutal.

Give him a chance and if he sucks then find a damned American.

Wallace has also taken C snaps in pre season and camp here. If Eli isn’t the answer, I’d try Wallace and stick Lofton at G that’s his natural position any way.

Get vanterpool practicing snaps. Seems like a smart quick learner type. Was apparently being a vocal leader at camp. Rookie camp especially.

gonna have to replace big Stan so. American Tackle. Wallace. ELI. vanterpool. Randolph .  3 American OL.  Neufeld cooked. As is kola. So is Big Stan unfortunately

Vanterpool is best off continuing to groom as the T, Stan has been on his last leg for a while now. But it doesn't hurt to have multiple guys ready to step in to a position like C.

we gotta teach Schmeck to snap if we continue to feel need to carry him....could be his calling and bring a lot of tenacity to the oline...and him knowing the plays and not havig to react as a DL guy may just be his saving grace

Bryant sadly is last yr...he's not a detriment by any means but time to move on....Be it free agency....Draft or a guy in house ....Vpool scared me there and would like to see Randolph transitioned there next yr

Do we see Manu late this yr or available next?....if/when that's a huge addition....Do we cement him for yrs at a tackle spot, or does he become Drew Desjarlais 2.0 at guard....but better

Kolo needs to be gone next yr if for anything he is not the future....he's not the present....Neuf on fence about.....until we see a diff center in there it is truly hard to judge our guards, but he not as bad as people make it out to be.

That would be good. Schmeck would have a bright future on the OL imo.

What about this Vibert fella on the PR? He has played center before.

I like Vibert; he's raw, though, needs polish. Idk how you can be worse than Kola, though.

yeah if there was ever a player convert that makes sense it's that one....guy could be that valuable sub who if anything could be extra oline guy....short yardage guy for offense and defense....perfect size for a center and has way more athleticism than Kolo.....as well as way more upside

We're not getting Manu this year. He has run with the 1s in some Detroit practices and they really seem to be both liking his development and progress and actively working to develop him according to reports.

He spent the whole offseason busting his butt with lecharles bentley, who does exceptional work with OL training. It sounds like he is looking really good early in lions camp, itll all come down to health and PS play imo.
